221. Do not marry unbelieving women [idolaters],

ဗမာျပည္ဖြားညီေနာင္မ်ားတို႔ဦးဇင္းကဗုဒၶဘာသာရဟန္းတစ္ပါးျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အခုတေလာထိမ္းျမားလက္ထပ္ျခင္းဆိုင္ရာဥပေဒနဲ႕ပတ္သက္လို႔ ဒကာဒကာမတို႔အစာမေၾကျဖစ္ေနတာသို႔မဟုတ္ အိမ္ေထာင္မူဘာမွ အေတြ႔အႀကံဳမရိွတ့ဲဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးအခ်ိဳ႕ ပါဝင္ပတ္သက္ေနမူကိုမလိုလားတာသို႔မဟုတ္ အျခားေသာဘာသာေတြကဗုဒၶဘာသာကိုအထင္အျမင္ေသးမွာစတဲ႔ စတဲ႔ စိုးရိမ္မူေတြေႀကာင္႔ ဒကာဒကာမတို႔အေနနဲ႕ ေရးသားကန္႔ကြက္ေနတာဆိုရင္ေတာ့ဘယ္သူတစ္ဦးတစ္ေယာက္ကမွ် ဒကာဒကာမတို႔ရဲ႕ေရးသားခ်က္ကိုအျပစ္မတင္ထုိက္ဘူးလို႔ ထင္မိပါတယ္။
ဘာလို႔လဲဆိုေတာကမၻာ႔သာသနာျပဳ ဆရာေတာ္ႀကီးဦးေသ႒ိလ က“Marriage in Burma in a religious ceremony and it is conducted by a professional layman, not by a monk.အိမ္ေထာင္ျပဳ သားေမြးဆိုတာသာမန္ ဒကာဒကာမေတြရဲ႕အလုပ္ျဖစ္ၿပီး၊ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားရဲ႕အလုပ္မဟုတ္ဘူးလို႔ ဆိုပါတယ္။”သို႔ေသာ္ “The monk advises the bride and bridegroom how to be a good wife and a good husband in accordance with Buddhist teachings.” ဆိုသလိုဦးဇင္းတို႔ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ား၏တာဝန္သည္ ဗုဒၶတရားေတာ္နဲ႕အညီအိမ္ေထာင္ရွင္အမ်ိဳးသားေကာင္းအမ်ိဳးသၼီးေကာင္းပီသေအာင္ ဘယ္လိုေနထိုင္ရမယ္ဆိုတာသြန္သင္ဆံုးမရံုပါပဲေလ။ဒါကဗုဒၶဘာသာဝင္ အိမ္ေထာင္ရွင္ေတြအတြက္ေပါ့ေနာ္။
The Buddha did not introduce his teachings as commandments or religious laws but as advices. ျမတ္ဗုဒၶ ဟာသူ႔ရဲ႕တရားေတာ္ေတြကိုပညတ္ေတာ္မ်ားအေနနဲ႔ သို႔တည္းမဟုတ္ ဘာသာေရးဥပေဒမ်ားအေနနဲ႕သင္ၾကားေဟာၾကားေပးခဲ႔တာမရိွပါဘူး။ မိမိဘဝမွာလိုက္နာက်င္႔သံုးနိုင္ရန္ အႀကံဥာဏ္ေကာင္းမ်ားေပးထားျခင္းမွ်သာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ (တုေမွဟိကိစၥမာတပၸံ၊ အကၡာတာေရာတထာဂတာ) လို႔ ဓမၼပဒပါဠိေတာ္ေတာ္မွာအတိအလင္းဆိုထားပါတယ္။အဓိပၸါယ္ကဗုဒၶျမတ္စြာဘုရားရွင္သည္ ေဟာေျပာသင္ၾကားဆံုးမေပးရံုသာလုပ္နုိင္ၿပီးက်င္႔ရန္မွာမိမိတို႔၏တာဝန္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Two state-run Myanmar newspapers, the Myanmar Alin and the Mirror have accused the Daily Eleven Newspaper in their June 18 editions for publishing an erroneous story about government plans to amend the 1982 citizenship law. The Daily Eleven headline published on June 13 was titled: “The government plans to amend the 1982 Myanmar Citizenship Law and submit it to Parliament but most Union Assembly representatives oppose it,” and was based on strong and credible sources in Parliament. Eleven Media strongly rejects these false allegations. We stand to the independence and credibility of our reporting and defend our role as an independent media channel to inform the public on the affairs of Parliament and issues of national importance.
