A report saying some 100 commandos had crossed the border into China via Muse-Ziegao checkpoint in 3 military trucks caused commotion among some Burma watchers follwoing the Kachin-Naypyitaw armed conflict. SHAN reporter however says a Supplies and Transport unit has been there since the weekend to receive 6 wheel Sino trucks made by a China-based Japanese company Howo. “More than 100 trucks have arrived so far,” he adds.
