insurgents opened fire on people giving alms to monks, killing four, among them a monk and a boy.

Four people, including a Buddhist monk , were killed and six others were injured in an attack in Thailand’s violence-plagued south on Thursday, police said.

According to Col Pramote Prom-in, spokesman for the forward command of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC), authorities are investigating spate of attacks that have happened recently resulting in the deaths of several innocent people, including monks.Attackers have left a note on each crime scene saying the killing was a retaliation of the death of three little boys who were gunned down in front of their home after returning home from a nearby mosque with their parents. Pramote said it was an attempt of insurgents to justify their action by framing Thai authorities as the killer of the three boys. He condemned the action while saying authorities were investigating the case to find perpetrators. Meanwhile, Fourth Region Army Commander Lt. Gen. Sakon Cheuntrakul has ordered the review of security strategy providing for residents, teachers and monks in the area who have been the targets of insurgency because they could not protect themselves. The Thai government has tried to end the decade-long violence in the southernmost provinces through peaceful negotiations that began last year. However, the peace process has been stalled for several months.

ขณะกำลังใส่บาตร จนท.ยิงตอบโต้ ทำให้ คนร้ายบาดเจ็บ และหลบหนีไปเหตุเกิด ศาลาบ้านใหม่ หมู่ที่ 1 ต.แม่ลาน อ.แม่ลาน จ.ปัตตานี เจ้าหน้าที่ระหว่างติดตามไล่ล่าอยู่

06.40 น. บึมชุด รปภ.พระสงฆ์ อ.ปานาเระ จ.ปัตตานี ทหารพรานดับเสียชีวิต 1 คน ชื่อ อส.ทพ.ศักดิ์ชัย เจียมรัม, / ทหารพรานบาดเจ็บสาหัส 1 คน ชื่อ อส.ทพ.บรรจง เพ็ชรราช,/ ส่วนพระสงฆ์บาดเจ็บสาหัส 1 รูปชื่อ พระยาน พรหมนุกูล พระลูกวัด วัดเทพนิมิตร / เด็กวัดบาดเจ็บสาหัส 1 คน การช่วยเหลือเป็นไปได้ความยากลำบาก เนื่องจากคนร้ายได้โปรยตะปูเรือใบไว้ตลอดเส้นถนนสาย 4061 หลังจากบึม.!
