The Spanish cyclist who disappeared from Yangon General Hospital while seeking medical treatment for multiple slashes has been found at Sakura Hospital, according to the police.
“He seemed to be seeking treatment at Sakura without getting permission from Yangon General. We still don’t know how he left Yangon General. We believe he chose the hospital that he thought was the best. He is still at Sakura,” Lt-Colonel Win Kyi from the Yangon West District Police Force said.
While cycling from Bago to Yangon, the man, identified only as Carlos, 31, was attacked by two unknown men on the highway near Bago on Monday night. He sustained 13 wounds and was taken first to Bago Hospital before being transferred to Yangon General the next day.
The cyclist has been touring across Turkey, China, Mongolia, Yunnan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and Kawkareik, Myawady, Hpa-An and Mawlamyaing in Myanmar.

 

Police say hospitalised Spanish tourist is missing

A Spanish tourist receiving treatment at Yangon General Hospital after sustaining multiple slash wounds this week was found missing on Tuesday night, according to Yangon West District Police Force.
“We have yet to know whether the Spanish tourist is missing or has fled after arriving at the Yangon hospital. We are investigating this in cooperation with authorities concerned. As we don’t have the Spanish embassy here (in Myanmar), we are trying to contact him via the consulates,” Police Lt-Colonel Win Kyi from the Yangon West District Police Force told The Daily Eleven on Thursday.
Carlos, 31, was attacked by two unknown men while on a bike ride at Mile Post No.43/1 on the old Yangon-Mandalay Highway at the exit of Bago Region at about 10 p.m. on Monday. He was taken to a field and attacked by unknown men using an iron rod and a sword. His backpack, money and bike were also reportedly stolen by the attackers.
The Spanish tourist who sustained 13 slash wounds was sent to Bago People’s Hospital and later transferred to Yangon General Hospital.
Bago Police Station No.3 has opened a case under Article 394 of Penal Code of Myanmar. cr.eleven media

พ.ต.ท.อรุณ พร้อมพันธุ์ สว.ส.ทท.4 กก.2 บก.ทท. ได้รับแจ้งจากพลเมืองดีว่า พบนายเบนจามิน กำลังนั่งขอทานอยู่บริเวณริมชายหาดพัทยา ตรงข้ามห้างสรรพสินค้าไมค์ช้อปปิ้งมอลล์ พัทยาใต้ จึงสั่งการให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจเดินทางไปควบคุมตัวมาสอบสวนที่สถานีตำรวจท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา พร้อมกับแจ้งข้อกล่าวหาก่อความเดือดร้อนรำคาญผู้อื่น ซึ่งมีอัตราโทษปรับ จากนั้นจะได้ประสานสถานทูตเยอรมันประจำประเทศไทยให้ทราบเรื่อง และส่งตัวให้ตำรวจตรวจคนเข้าเมืองส่งกลับประเทศบ้านเกิดต่อไป

ไอ้ฝรั่งขาโต ที่ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวพัทยา จับไปเมื่อตอนตี 2 เมื่อคืน ตำรวจแจ้งข้อหาไม่ได้ เพราะเงินเป็นเงินบริจาค จึงทำได้แค่พาไปเปิดโรงแรมให้พัก แล้วพอตอนเช้ามีคำสั่งให้ไปควบคุมตัวอีก เพื่อดำเนินคดีข้อหาเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต มันก็หนีไปแล้ว แถมก่อนหนียังไปคุยกับทางเจ้าหน้าที่โรงแรมว่า คนไทยโง่ที่บริจาคเงินให้มันเอง!!

จากกรณีเมื่อประมาณตี 2 – นายเบนจามินไอ้ฝรั่งขาโต ไปเที่ยวในวอล์คกิ้งสตรีท ในสภาพเมาสุราอย่างหนัก พูดจาน้ำเสียงอ้อแอ้ ระหว่างนั้น ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา มาพบเห็นพอดี จึงนำตัวนายเบนจามิน มาตรวจสอบ พบว่าเงินที่ได้รับบริจาคกว่า 40,000 บาท เหลือติดตัวอยู่เพียง 7,000 บาท และยังไม่มีโรงแรมที่พัก โดยเจ้าตัวอ้างว่า เดินทางมาหาเพื่อนชาวเยอรมันที่พัทยาแต่เพื่อนไม่มารับ เบื้องต้นเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจทำได้เพียงพานายเบนจามิน ไปเข้าพักที่โรงแรมกรีนโฮเต็ล เพื่อให้หายสร่างเมา

ด้าน พ.ต.ท.อรุณ พร้อมพันธุ์ สว.ส.ทท.4 กก.2 บก.ทท. เปิดเผยว่า ช่วงสายวันเดียวกันนี้ได้สั่งการให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา เดินทางไปควบคุมตัวนายเบนจามิน เพื่อนำตัวมาดำเนินคดีในข้อหาเข้ามาแล้วอยู่ในราชอาณาจักรโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต

แต่ปรากฏว่านายเบนจามิน ได้หลบหนีออกจากโรงแรมไปแล้ว พร้อมกับบอกแคชเชียร์ของโรงแรมว่า..จะไปขอทานต่อ ซ้ำยังเอ่ยปากดูถูกคนไทยว่าเป็นคนโง่ที่บริจาคเงินให้ตนเอง อย่างไรก็ตาม ใครที่พบเห็นนายเบนจามิน อยู่ที่ใด สามารถแจ้งให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวทราบได้ทันที

แต่เรื่องขานี่โตบวมจริงครับ แต่ไม่ใช่เท้าช้าง เค้าเป็นมาแต่เกิดเป็นพวกโรคน้ำเหลือง ซึ่งจริงๆ ถ้าอากาศไม่ร้อนมากขาจะไม่บวมมาก ประกอบกับฝรั่งคนนี้ดื่มเบียร์เย่อะมาก!!

นักท่องเที่ยว คนนี้ได้หลบหนีจากที่พัก เมื่อวันอังคารมาที่พัทยา (ได้เงินมา 4 หมื่นบาท จากการช่วยเหลือ) …ซึ่งฝรั่งคนนี้เค้าคาดไม่ถึงว่าหลังจากที่บอกเราว่าไม่มีเงินกลับบ้านแล้ว ทางสมาคมฯจะช่วยเขาจริงๆ เค้าคงคิดว่าจะช่วยในลักษณะให้เงินอย่างเดียว แต่เราช่วยทั้งเรื่องทำหนังสือเดินทางใหม่ และหาตั๋วเครื่องบินให้บินกลับประเทศด้วย หลังจากที่ได้หนังเดินทางใหม่แล้ว ทีนี้คงเห็นแล้วไงว่าต้องกลับจริงๆ เขาก็เลยหนี >> ว่าง่ายๆครับฝรั่งคนนี้คิดว่าจะเอาเงินอย่างเดียว เข้าไปดูที่เฟสฯเค้ามาครับเค้าเพิ่งไปเที่ยว universal ที่ญี่ปุ่นมาครับ

วันนี้ (24 กย.) เมื่อเวลา 20.00 น. เพื่อนๆเราได้ เจอมานั่งขอทานอีกแล้ว ที่ Pattaya Beach Thailand. เช็กในทางข่าวจริงหรือเท็จยังงัยรอคนยืนยันนะ…เค้าว่าสมาคมที่เค้าช่วยเหลือชาวเยอรมัน จัดการพาไปสถานทูตเยอรมันทำพาสปอร์ตให้ใหม่แล้วจะซื้อตั๋วเครื่องบินให้ด้วย แถมจ่ายค่าเกสเฮาส์ระหว่างรอกลับบ้านให้ด้วย พอถึงวันนัดรับพาสปอร์ตเค้าก็หนีทีมงานไปเลย พอสืบไปสืบมา เจอว่ามันซื้อตั๋วเครื่องบินมาขาเดียว คือตั้งใจมาขอทานอยู่ว่างั้นเหอะ

Tourism ministers from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam met recently in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss a plan to introduce a single visa policy for tourists entering the five nations.

The proposed move aims to boost tourist arrivals in these countries, whose combined international arrivals in 2012 saw 18-per-cent growth to reach 37 million. The ministers met at the ACMECS conference on the sidelines of the 9th International Travel Expo, which ran from September 12 to 14. Cambodia and Thailand launched a pilot scheme in January that allows tourists who obtain a visa to enter Thailand to also enter Cambodia.

Five Southeast Asian countries, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, are targeting a double-digit growth rate of international visitors annually by 2015 under the theme “Five Countries One Destination”, according to Hoang Tuan Anh, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism.

(1). General Visitors (foreign/domestic visitors) to Kachinland must have an Inner Line Permit (ILP).

(2). The Inner Line Permit (ILP) may apply online or Kachinland Government Representative Offices.

(3). General Visitors must disclose their purpose of journey and intended day of their stay. On expired of their stay permit, the visitor must extend their stay permit.

(4). General Visitors will have no land rights and voting rights except business engagement (special rule apply) in partnership with local Kachinland citizen.

(5). The Kachinland Government will deploy the Inner Line check points in every entry/exit port (e.g. Kata, Myitkyina airport) to Kachinland.

Domestic/Foreign Tourist who want to enter Kachinland are need to have ILP.

Procedure: 2 copies of Passport size photograph for Myitkyina District

American Murdered in Krabi: Son Knifed in Long Horn Saloon Tragedy

PHUKET: An American was stabbed to death early today in a bar in the Thai holiday province of Krabi because he refused to stopped singing, police said.The man’s son, who was also singing with his father, was seriously wounded in the attack at the Long Horn Saloon in Ao Nang, a coastal resort town. The Long Horn Saloon in Ao Nang, Krabi, where an American tourist was stabbed to death early today and his son was seriously injured The dead man has been named as Bobby Carter, 51, and his son is Adam Hayes Carter, 27. The killing took place when three local men objected to the Carters hogging singing time at the saloon about 1am today, officers said. The dead man and his son were taken to Krabi Hospital and the son was transferred to Bangkok Phuket Hospital in Phuket, a neighboring province also noted for tourism, early today. Three men have been arrested for stabbing the two American with sharpened steel rods, a preferred local weapon. The three men are Ratikorn Ramin, 27, Sathit Somsa, 40, and Noppanan Yoddecha, 26. They are being held in Krabi. Adam Carter declined a request for an interview today. He appeared to be in reasonable condition and able to talk when reporters called at his room. It’s believed the stabbing took place out the front of the saloon. The killing is bound to reignite the issue of tourist safety in Thailand. Police are using more security cameras on Phuket and have introduced ”Safety Zones” in key tourist areas, including the nightlife hub of Patong, on the west coast.
