Buddhism is in danger nowadays in our current world. Buddhist girls are being raped, being converted to Islam unwillingly, being attacked violently by extremists.
Buddhists temple and statues are destroyed by Jihadists in so many regions but world’s medias are neglecting the real truth.

We Buddhist are minorities people in the whole world. So, people must safeguard the Buddhist minority who are giving the light of wisdom to the whole world. If Sun and moon disappear, electricity can give light for us but if the Buddha’s teachings disappear totally, the world is going to be dark side all the times. Losing the Buddha’s Dharma is great loss for all the worlds.

People of the world, Please – reflect on the suffering and worries of the Buddhist minorities compared to Islamic populations. Pro-Islamic, Muslims apologist and anti-Myanmar Maung Zarni is insulting Sitagu Sayadaw because the venerable has said that most religions are based on Fear and people are manipulated by aggressive religions. Sayadaw is just advocating for peace.
Sayadaw finally said “ဒါေၾကာင့္ ဒို႕ကေတာ့ ျမတ္ဗုဒၶဆုံးမတဲ့အတိုင္း favour (favoritism) ႏွင့္ fear အစြန္း နွစ္ဘက္က လြတ္ေအာင္ေရွာင္ၿပီး ဒို႔တိုင္းျပည္နဲ႕ ဒို႔လူမ်ိဳးကို ဓမၼဓိဌာန္ က်က် ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ ကာကြယ္ သြားမည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ေျပာၾကားလိုပါတယ္္။”

Welcome to Sitagu International Buddhist Academy. I am glad to meet and to discuss with you.
There are six major Religions in the world today. Since Human beings came on Earth, people worshipped the Sun, the Moon and various deities. They also sought refuge in them on the basis of fear. It was called a primitive religion. Most of scholars stated that horror initiated the religions of those days. The Buddha also clearly said that the idea and concept of religions originated from fear. Therefore every religion has full responsibility for the removal of fear which is sticking on the mind of people. But, on the contrary, it is regrettable that a fearful religion and its followers emerged in the world.
After the primitive religions there appeared Hinduism. And afterwards, Jainism also came out on the Land where Hinduism was being flourished. Forty years after the emergence of Jainism, there appeared Buddhism also. Buddhism appeared on the birth place of Hinduism and Jainism and peacefully coexisted with them for ages. There was no traceable history of bloodshed and conflict among them. Also there was no violence and quarrel even on the statement issued by the Hindus saying that the Buddha was an incarnation of God Vishnu. We had only oral and written arguments.ted as slaves when the United States of America was established. In the same way, the English rulers illegally imported labourers from India and Bangladesh to Myanmar for the hard labour during their rule.
Six hundred years after the Buddha, Jesus Christ appeared in the World. In the ten commandments of Christianity we find many similarities with Buddhism in the field of Morality and Noble practice. Christian missions tried to flourish their faith when they came to the East Asian countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Korea and Japan. The people of those countries were non-Christians. But, even after the arrival of Christianity also there was peaceful coexistence between Christians and non-Christians. No history of conflict can be traced to any side. Because all the Hindus, Janis and Christians are walking together on the common platform of their respective teachings, that is Morality, Loving-kindness and compassion. The religion, founded based on Loving-kindness and compassion, has no conflict and it does only social welfare services like Health, Education and other social infrastructures.
In Myanmar, many Christians converted to Buddhism in the past as well as at the present. They did it not because they were forced by the Buddhists. Similarly, many of Buddhists also converted to Christian faith. No single Christian threatened them to do so. They did it of their own free will. Every religion has and should have freedom of worship and freedom of belief. Look at the Crusade that prolonged about forty years. It was recorded in the history of the world.
We have to note that the beginning of conflict is aggressiveness and extremism either in the field of religion or that of politics. Today, in Iraq, the Islamic extremists are forcing ancient Zoroastrians to change their faith into Islam. They even threatened them to kill if their demand is not met. In Africa, a Muslim woman was given the death sentence just because she has converted to Christianity. Therefore, we, the East Asian Buddhist countries are living in constant daily fear of falling under the sword of the Islamic extremists. As we are lacking power and influence, we cannot compete against with the rapid growth of Islamic world.
There was a recorded history that in the thirteenth century A.D, a Muslim army marched from Turkey through India and destroyed Pala Buddhist dynasty and converted it into Islamic state. Pala Buddhist dynasty was none other than present Bangladesh. In the south of Philippine, the Islamic extremists revolted against the government for twenty years. Today, they established a Muslim state there. The Islamic extremists are holding weapons in the south of Thailand to make it a separate Muslim state.
Every religion, according to me, should perform its activities only for the good and welfare of the people. But, today, Islamic extremists are trying to establish Islamic states by waging war against non-Muslims. It is regrettable that they are performing the holy war (Jihad) on the name of God. As you can see, talks about the separatist movement actually took place at the UDD “war drum” rally this past weekend in Nakon Ratchasima. There was talk about organizing armed renegades to fight against us in Bangkok, and if that plan didn’t succeed, they would secede from Thailand.
However, while they claim that I am a traitor to Thailand, I have never discussed procuring “10 million weapons” or any separatist movement. We’ve repeatedly said that once we prevail against the Thaksin regime, the benefits will be enjoyed by all Thais regardless of their shirt color. I have repeatedly invited our red shirt friends to come join our fight to strengthen democracy in Thailand. We have never once said that our countrymen in the North and the Northeast are enemies. We have never even imagined that – such a notion is alien to us. Moreover, our supporters include people from every province, including representatives from the Northern hill tribes. We are fighting for our national tricolor flag, for the good of the nation, and not just one color. We have taken a stand in accordance with our constitutional rights, and demonstrate peacefully without arms. We have rejected the use of arms.
The Constitution of Thailand provides that “Thailand is one and indivisible Kingdom.” Therefore, anyone who dares to attempt to divide Thailand are the ones betraying the nation. They are the traitors of our country and our constitution. And it is they who must confront our police and our soldiers who are obligated to defend our country!
The UDD supporters are ready to fight anyone who rises against Yingluck – which means us – and will amass arms and weapons, including by arming police troops and the family members of police.
They have denounced the judiciary, noting that no courts can be trusted, so they will travel into Bangkok to shut down the courts and other independent agencies. As you may have seen in the news today, the date on which Yingluck was supposed to come hear the NACC charges against her, the UDD supporters cemented the gates of the NACC shut.

เต็มที่เต็มกำลังเพียงเท่านี้ก็ถือว่าคุ้มค่าที่ได้เกิดมาในชาตินี้ …
ลูก หลานเหล่านักรบพระราชา จำไว้เถิดว่าการที่เราได่มาร่วมต่อสู้ด้วยกันในครั้งนี้ไม่รู้ว่าอีกกี่รอบปีจึงจะมีเหตุการณ์ แบบนี้อีกครั้ง ถือเป็นการสร้างประวัติศาสตร์ร่วมกัน วันแห่งชัยชนะกำลังจะมาถึง ขอให้เราตั้งมั่นอยู่ในอุดมการณ์

ข้าพเจ้าในฐานะตัวแทนชาวนาไทย ทหารกล้าของพระราชา ปกป้องแผ่นดินไทย ไม่อาจจะให้ความไว้วางใจกับรัฐบาลได้อีกต่อไป จึงขอให้ท่านปลัดกระทรวงยุติธรรม ซึ่งเป็นข้าราชการใน องค์พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ได้โปรดคำนึงถึงชาวนาไทย ผู้ยากไร้ขัดสน และลำบากอย่างแสนสาหัส ดำเนินการดังต่อไปนี้
1. ขอให้ท่านปลัดกระทรวงยุติธรรมติดตามทวงถาม เงินค่าจำนำข้าวจากรัฐบาลมาให้ชาวนาภายในเวลา ไม่เกิน 7 วัน และต้องได้คำตอบที่พอใจ
2. ขอให้ปลัดกระทรวงยุติธรรม ตรวจการทุจริตในโครงการรับจำนำข้าวอย่างโปร่งใส
3. ขอให้ตรวจทาน สอบสวนโกดังข้าวทั้งหมด ที่เก็บข้าวในโครงการรับจำนำตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นจนถึงปัจจุบันว่ามีนจำนวนเท่าไร และขายไปแล้วเท่าไหร่ เสียหายเท่าไหร่ ขาดทุน กำไรเท่าไหร่
4. ขอให้นายกรัฐมนตรี คณะรัฐมนตรี ผู้มีหน้าที่เกี่ยวข้อง ต้องออกมาแสดงความรับผิดชอบและชดใช้ค่าเสียหาย ในความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้น แก่พี่น้องชาวนาและการค้าข้าวของไทย ในเวทีตลาดโลก
5. ขอให้ยึดทรัพย์นายกรัฐมนตรีและคณะรัฐมนตรี และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องมาชดใช้ให้กับชาวนา
6. ขอให้ดำเนินการเพื่อช่วยเหลือชาวนาทางด้านกระบวนการยุติธรรม ในการเรียกร้องหรือชดเชยค่าเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นโดยเร่งด่วน

Suthep Thaugsuban (20.09): Thank you, “Nong Ning’s grandmother,” for your donation of 1 million baht. We are grateful for your overwhelming generosity. Citizens have the constitutional right to gather and protest the government peacefully and without arms. They are entitled to protection by law enforcement and the state. This is true everywhere – except in Thailand. Here, the police lead criminal caravans to attack non-violent, unarmed protesters, which is the privileged treatment that UDD supporter Koh Tee and his group of thugs received while driving to attack peaceful protesters at Chaeng Wattana the other day. Shame on you, Metropolitan Police chief Kamronwit Thoopkrajang! Shame on you, caretaker Interior Minister Jarupong Ruangsuwan! And shame on you, Yingluck Shinawatra. You are demonic.: Today we marched along Ladprao road. Our route was short – only about 5/6 kms – but it took us several hours to complete because everyone wanted to donate money to Pathumwan kitchen and the PDRC. Everyone told us to carry on and to not give up. People lined both sides of the street. They asked to photograph me holding their babies. This is history in the making, they said.ingluck has been sending her guard dogs to attack us. Last night, a guard at Ladprao was shot by a gun with silencer. No one noticed when he went down initially. But once news of this incident got out, Ladprao residents were especially inspired and came out in droves to greet us.We are facilitating the transport of Khun Prakong Chujan’s remains back to Phuket. Once there, PDRC – Phuket will take care of the rest. (19.29): I apologize if my speech is rather spontaneous, and less scripted tonight, due to the tragic events that happened earlier today. Today at 9 am, a procession of us left Lumpini to walk the streets of Bangkok and invite our friends to come join our Shutdown activities. This is an activity we have done several times as you know. Most unfortunately, this time, upon reaching Bantadthong Road, an explosive was thrown into our procession. At least 31 of our friends were injured. 10 of these were women. The most critically injured woman went into cardiac arrest because her main artery in the chest area was severed, but the doctors at Ramathibordi were able to help her although she has yet to regain consciousness. Another gentleman was also hit by bomb fragments in the chest and is in critical condition. Several others were critically injured and are awaiting operation at Ramathibordi Hospital. Our friends at Hua Chieaw Hospital are recovering and have asked me to tell you not to worry. Several people have also been admitted at Klang Hospital and Chulalongkorn Hospital. Core leaders Satish Sehgal and Puttipong Punnagan have visited all those in hospital. We will take care of all hospital expenses, so please don’t worry. I implore you to please keep our injured friends in your thoughts and prayers tonight.
Suthep Thaugsuban (19.55): Thaksin’s puppets have been conspiring to murder me. They tried to capture me at the Intercontinental hotel last evening, and then again tried to shoot me in Lumpini after discovering I had moved there. Good policemen are keeping me informed of the regime’s movement. Thaksin proxies believe that if they stop me, our civil uprising will end and you all will go home. And today, after the Bantadthong incident, the police “Line” group issued a notice that the protesters had faked the bombing. Well, Adul/Worapong/Kamronwit, I’m not like your UDD leaders – I don’t kill my friends to reap personal gain! You are despicable! National Security Council (NSC) chief Paradorn Pattanatabut, that includes you too.
(19.52): What kind of barbaric government is this? Why are they not taking responsibility for these attacks on innocent citizens? We are entering the third month of our peaceful demonstrations and we have not even broken anyone’s window. Why are we being attacked? We are not terrorists!
Brothers and sisters, we have made huge sacrifices to get here. Two of our friends – Wasu Suchantabut and Yuttana Ong-art – have already fallen. If I should be taken, promise me that you will continue our good fight until we prevail. We shall not let our friends’ blood be spilled in vain. We shall topple the Thaksin regime, and we will emerge victorious!
The Thaksin regime is diabolical. Not only are they irredeemably corrupt, they are willing to murder innocents to stay in power. Thaksin has done this and now his puppets are too. We cannot let them carry on! But I am resolved to see this through. Tomorrow at 10 am, I will march again. Yingluck/Adul/Worapong/ Kamronwit: if you kill Suthep Thaugsuban, a million more Sutheps will rise immediately. And you shall have no place to stand in our beloved homeland.
Tomorrow at 10 am, I invite all our friends from the provinces whose citizens were injured to shut down your provincial town halls. Bangkok friends, I implore you to join us, your fellow citizens, in this fight against good and evil. This is your home, our home – we cannot let these villains continue to run free before our eyes. Join us! Come on out and join your brothers and sisters! (thunderous chants of “come out, come out, come out” from the crowds) Civil servants, it is time for you to join us as well. Do not continue to support the Thaksin regime. Come out and join us on the streets. We know you are not like Yingluck, national police chief Adul Sangsingkaew, deputy chief Worapong Chewpreecha, Metropolitan Police chief Kamronwit Thoopkrachang – so please come take a stand against them with your fellow citizens.
It is time to end the Thaksin regime once and for all. Please take a stand. Please rise up with us! Thank you and good night!
