မေလးရွားႏုိင္ငံသုိ႔သြားေနၾကသည့္ေလွစီးဘဂၤါလီမ်ားအထဲတြင္ ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ရွိ ဒုကၡသည္စခန္းမွ ပါ၀င္ျခင္း မရွိဟု ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္အစုိးရအဖြဲ႕၏ သတင္းထုတ္ျပန္ေရးႏွင့္ မွတ္တမ္းျပဳစုေရးဆပ္ေကာ္မတီဥကၠ႒ ဦးလွသိန္း က ထုတ္ေဖာ္ေျပာဆုိလိုက္သည္။

ေမလ ၁၉ ရက္ေန႔၊ ညေနပုိင္းက ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ဥပေဒခ်ဳပ္ရုံးအစည္းအေဝး ခန္းမတြင္ ျပဳလုပ္ေသာ သတင္းစာရွင္းလင္းပြဲတြင္ ဦးလွသိန္းက ထိုသို႕ ေျပာၾကားျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။

“အဲဒီေလွစီး ရုိဟင္ဂ်ာေတြထဲမွာ ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ကဘဂၤါလီဒုကၡသည္စခန္းေတြကေနပါတယ္ဆုိၿပီး ေျပာေနၾကတဲ့သူေတြကုိ ဘာအေထာက္အထားနဲ႔ စြပ္စြဲေနၾကတာလဲလို႔ က်ေနာ္တုိ႔က ေမးခ်င္တယ္။ က်ေနာ္ တို႔မွာ ဒီကေန႔အထိ ဘယ္ဒုကၡ သည္စခန္းက ဘယ္ဘဂၤါလီဒုကၡသည္ေတြမွ လူကုန္ကူးပြဲစားေတြနဲ႔ လိုက္သြားလို႔ ေပ်ာက္ေနတာ မရွိေသးဘူး”ဟု ယင္းက ဆုိသည္။

ရခုိင္ျပည္နယ္တြင္ ဘဂၤါလီဒုကၡသည္စခန္း ၁ဝ ခုေက်ာ္ရွိေသာ္လည္း ယင္းစခန္းရွိဘဂၤါလီဒုကၡသည္ မ်ားကုိ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရဲတပ္ဖြဲ႕ႏွင့္ နယ္ျခားေစာင့္တပ္တို႔က လံုၿခံဳေရးအျပည့္အဝရယူထားသျဖင့္ ဘဂၤါလီဒုကၡသည္ မ်ားအေနျဖင့္ အလြယ္တကူဝင္/ထြက္သြားလာမႈ မရွိေၾကာင္းလည္း ဦးလွသိန္းက ဆက္ေျပာသည္။

“ရုိဟင္ဂ်ာဆုိတာနဲ႔ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၊ အထူးသျဖင့္ ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ကုိ တန္းျမင္ၾကေတာ့တာပဲ။ က်ေနာ္တို႔ သိရသေလာက္ကေတာ့ အဲဒီေလွစီးဒုကၡသည္ေတြကုိ မင္းတို႔ တစ္ခုခုျဖစ္လုိ႔ရွိရင္ ရုိဟင္ဂ်ာလို႔ေျပာဆုိၿပီးေတာ့ လူပြဲစားက သင္ေပးၿပီးသား။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ဘဂၤလီေတြအားလံုးက ခုလို ထြက္ဆိုၾကတာ”ဟု ယင္းက ဆုိသည္။

ယခု မေလးရွား၊ ထိုင္းႏွင့္ အင္ဒုိနီးရွားတြင္ ကယ္တင္ထားေသာ ေလွစီးဒုကၡသည္မ်ားသည္ ဘဂၤလာေဒရွ္႕ ကမ္းေျခမွ တဆင့္ ထိုင္းလုပ္ ၀ါးလက္ ငါးဖမ္းေလွမ်ားျဖင့္ ထြက္ခြာၾကသူမ်ား ျဖစ္ၾကေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။

ႏိုင္ငံတကာ သတင္းမီဒီယာမ်ားကမူ ယခု ေလွစီဒုကၡသည္မ်ားမွာ ဖိႏွိပ္ ခြဲျခား ဆက္ဆံခံရမႈတို႕ေၾကာင့္ ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ ရွိဒုကၡသည္ စခန္းမ်ားမွ ထြက္ေျပးလာၾကသူမ်ား ျဖစ္ျပီး အခ်ိဳ႕မီဒီယာမ်ားကမူ ဒုကၡသည္စခန္းမ်ားမွ လူအခ်ိဳ႕ကို ေငြျဖင့္ ေရြး၍ လူေမွာင္ခိုသမားမ်ားလက္မွ ျပန္လည္ ကယ္တင္ခဲ့ရသည္ဟု သတင္းမ်ားတြင္ ေဖာ္ျပေနၾကသည္။

BURMA ARMY DETAIN 18 people from Bangladesh in Rathidaung township

(Rathidaung, 29 October 2013): The Burma Army have detained at least 18 people from Bangladesh in Rathidaung township, 20 miles away from Arakan capital city Sittwe, while they were entering into the Burmese territory without valid documents by a machine boat, said a source in the authority.

A police officer from Long Chaung police station located near the spot said that the Burmese Army personnel detained 18 people from both Burma and Bangladesh on the last Sunday morning from nearby the Chaingkha Le village, located at southwestern part of  Rathedaung township.

“Some villagers from Chaingkha Le village informed an Army outpost stationed in the village about the group of people in a machine boat harbored on a bank near to their village creek. The security personnel quickly traced them with the help of local villagers,” informed the police officer.

A villager from Chaingkha Le village said that the Army had detained around 21 people, among them 12 were from Bangladesh and 9 from Maungdaw township of Burma, when they tried to enter the Burmese territory from Bangladesh by a machine boat.

Some of the passengers of the machine boat had however fled into the nearby jungle with fear of arrest by the Burmese authority. The security forces and local residents are still looking for those fleeing passengers.

The local source suspects that the machine boat was likely moving towards Malaysia with passengers from Burma and Bangladesh who would have tried to enter the country, but the bad weather had forced the boat-riders to enter into the Burmese territory for temporary solace.

၂။ ၂/၁၀/၁၃ ေန႕ တြင္ ရခိုင္တိုင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ဳိး ၆ ဦးအား ခိုင္လံုေသာအေထာက္အထားမရွိဘဲ ပတိပကၡတြင္ ပါ၀င္သည္ဆိုၿပီး ညအခ်ိန္မေတာ္ ဖမ္းဆီးေခၚေဆာင္သြားၿပီး ယခုအခ်ိန္ထိ အာမခံမရဘဲ ထိန္းသိမ္းခံထားရသည္ဟု သိရွိရပါသည္။

၃။ မူဆလင္ဘဂၤလီလူမ်ဳိး ဦးေက်ာ္ဇံလွ၏ ျပစ္မူသည္ အေထာက္အထားခိုင္လံုေသာ အမူျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း အာမခံျဖင့္လြတ္ေပးၿပီး ရခိုင္တိုင္းရင္းသားမ်ားအားအေထာက္အထား ခိုင္လံုမူမရွိဘဲ ဖမ္းဆီးခ်ဳပ္ေႏွာင္ထားကာ အာမခံမေပးဘဲ ဖမ္းဆီးထားျခင္းမွာ အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးအာဏာကို စီမံခန္႕ခြဲေနရေသာ အစိုးရအဖြဲ႕အေနျဖင့္ တစ္ဘက္သတ္ ဘက္လိုက္မူမ်ား ရွိေနသည္ဟု မိမိအေနျဖင့္ ယူဆမိပါသည္။

Arakanese youth murdered was found near a creek nearby a Muslim village

Sittwe, 3 September 2013): An Arakanese youth, who was later identified as Ko Zaw Zaw of Raychan Byint village under Sittwe Township, succumbed to injuries on Monday.

The villagers of Raychan Byint village witnessed the youth with injuries at around 3 pm, who was missing since Sunday morning.

The victim was around 22 years old and belonged to the family of U Thingyaan Aung and Daw Pru Ma Chay of Raychan Byint village in the Arakanese capital city, stated a village elder.

A police officer from Ray Byint police station confirmed the murder of Ko Zaw Zwa. He also added that the body of the Arakanese youth was found near a creek nearby a Muslim village named Kha Din Pike, which is close to Raychan Byint Rakhine village.

The investigating officer found that Ko Zaw Zwa, who went missing since he went to mangrove forest near his village to collect fruits the previous day, received severe injuries in his neck, throat and head.

The dead body was then sent to Sittwe hospital for autopsy by the police and a case was also registered in the Ray Byint police station.Investigations are going on, informed a police officer.

Similar cases were reported from the town of Pauk Taw earlier too. A 41 year-old Arakanese woman named Ma Hla Than Sein from Munying Taw village in Pauk Taw Township was raped and killed by miscreants near a stream located at between Munying Taw Rakhine village and Kyin Ni Byint Muslim refugee camp few days back.

1. We had presented two times to you why and how did this crisis was erupted on
our land. We presumed you will thoroughly understand the situation and concept of ethnic Rakhine people ( Arakanese ) upon this crisis.

2. But you are repeatedly demanding to pay citizenship to all immigrated Bengalis neglecting the Human Rights Declaration article 13(2) and never care our Rakhines’ interest . And you have demand to release one of the key terrorists , Dr Tun Aung with you one sided view .

3. When you declare to come our land , those aggressive intruders, Bengalis , always make some problem .This time they made hostile act even to the authorities concerned . If we lived with them interlacely we would be beheaded and our houses would be burnt down . So we presumed your trip were , if although you have no intents , inciting those intruders , Bengalis . And when everytimes you used the word “ Rohingya “ , which we cannot absolutely accepted ,this calling is amounts to instigation to Bengalis and provokes our Arakaneses’ fury . we want to pay you an example : If a group of English or German Or France Have come to Argentina and settled there , they might probably become citizens of Argentina , but they would never become Argentines or any other new race , because they are still English or German Or France .

4.We have felt that your acts and declaration were always beyond your mandate as a Human Rights envoy , insulting our natives and infringing sovereignty of our country .

Bengali Muslims-so called Rohingya_ burned down two police outposts in Sittwe

Myanmar’s Rakhine State Government has announced that seven people were injured in gunfire with no casualties in a violence that involved a group of Bengalis who had burned down a police outpost on August 9 following a dispute of a person who died from drowning in Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine.

The incident erupted in morning after a row between police members and a crowd of 500 Bengalis over the body of a 34-year-old Bengali man found at a creek near Ohndawgyi village in Sittwe.

The Bengalis burned down Chaungwa police outpost and three camps formerly used by security forces near the village and took things from the camps with them on that day. And they managed to cut the connection between Ohndawgyi and Bawdupha relief camp by destroying the road. The police and army troops could not reach the relief camp as the route had been cut.

“The security situation there could get worse because of the [Bengalis’] incident. I think they did this because they know Quintana [Tomás Ojea Quintana, the United Nations Special Rapporteur] would be visiting soon. Does one should deter a normal police procedure? They seemed to do this to make Rakhine ethnic people unbearable. Rakhine people will only accept [them] if they don’t make any hostile act. They seemed to do this to make the Rakhine people lose trust in them,” said Win Myaing, the secretary for Rakhine State’s Information and Records Subcommittee.

Security situation there is still fragile as Bengalis are likely to make attacks though the security forces are beefed up there.

THERE,S NO ETHNIC GROUP CALLED “ROHINGYA” IN  MYANMAR-

YANGON – Eight people were arrested on Friday after Bengali  (Rohingya )Muslims burned down two police outposts in Sittwe in Myanmar’s western Rakhine state, officials said.

“Two police outposts near Ohnetaw Gyi village were burned by the angry Bengalis,” said a state government official who asked to remain anonymous.

“Police arrested eight Bengalis for the arson.”

Myanmar people refer to the “Rohingya” Muslims as “Bengalis,” to indicate that they are descendants of settlers from neighbouring Bangladesh.

Earlier, about 1,000 Rohingya had demanded police hand over the body of a  BENGALI ,Rohingya woman who had allegedly drowned on Wednesday in a stream near Ohnetaw Gyi village, about 500 kilometres northwest of Yangon.

Police “were carrying [the body] to the police station when the Bengalis surrounded them,” the Rakhine government official said in a telephone interview.

Police fired warning shots into the air, “but there were too many of them so a clash happened and two of them were injured”, said a local police officer, who also asked to remain anonymous.

The angry mob responded by burning down the two police outposts.

The Rohingya were made stateless by the 1982 Citizens Act, which refused to recognise them as an we have no term “rohingya”, only burmese muslim_ “ indigenous ethnic group”. There are an estimated 800,000 Rohingyas living in the northern part of the Rakhine state, means 94 %,which borders Bangladesh

Marine police to be stationed in Rakhine’s port cities

Myanmar’s Marine Police Force (MPF) members are reportedly preparing to be posted in three port cities of the Rakhine coastal region in western part of the country.

A MPF official says the chosen location for the base include Sittwe and Kyaukphyu for MPF offices, which will take responsibility for security in Myanmar’s waters.

According to Rakhine Conflict Investigation Commission’s report, Myanmar will take security measures of Rakhine coast such as strengthening naval forces, using seaside radars, patrol planes, CCTVs and assault boats by forming marine police and coastal police forces.

A company of marine police force will be deployed at Kyaukphyu port while two platoons will be stationed in Sittwe and Thandwe ports.

More marine police forces will also be formed and stationed at other seaports of the country such as Yangon, Dawei, Pathein, Mawlamyine, Myeik, Kawthoung, Mandalay and Wanpon (Megong).

Marine police forces are mainly responsible for prevention of human trafficking, arms and narcotic smuggling, sea robbery and transnational crimes and ensuring the rule of law in the country’s waters.

“Marine police forces are tasked with preventing offenses in the country’s waters, cooperating with police forces from neighbouring countries in tackling transnational crimes and rescuing natural disaster victims at sea,” said an official from Sittwe Marine Police Force.

“Rakhine coast borders both the land and waters of Bangladesh, where people cross in and out illegally. We need not only naval forces but also marine police forces for security. We have learned Sittwe will have only a platoon of marine police. So it is necessary to have a larger force and use modern weapons and high speed boats like in Bangladesh,” said a Maungdaw local resident.

About three years ago, a robbery gang of Bengalis reportedly robbed some villages of Maungdaw and Yathedaung townships in Rakhine state and raided the outposts of border immigration control forces. After committing a robbery, those Bengalis reportedly went into hiding through the water route. They also committed other offenses such as robbing cattle, stealthily catching fish and smuggling drugs.

Sittwe used to have marine police forces and customs patrol watercraft 40 or 50 years ago.

Marine Police Force was formed under Myanmar Police Force on July 9 last year following communal violence in Rakhine state in June.
