There is this huge confusion with the customs and airport….
. so this is what needs to be done….
For the ones sending goods : Make a list of things that are being sent , a letter stating where these will be used and for what purpose….. also the ones receiving should be an NGO or INGO who has to come to receive it with details of things they are receiving, the purpose of it and the area where it will be used…..

Once you have that , please send me the list and we will help the coordination part at the airport….. We are going to have a coordination center at TIA INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL from tomorrow…… For the ones in need : Please send me a detail list of things that you need , it has to be from some NGO and INGO letter head stating the purpose and area of use….. Please bring the document or mail me in nishantshrestha@gmail.com and our coordinators at the aiport will start the process immediately. ……..

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Krishnapada Roy said they arrested the ‘Rohingya militants’ from Lalbagh’s Etimkhana Mor around 9:30pm Sunday.

The men arrested were identified as Nur Hossain aka Rafikul Islam, 26, Yasir Arafat, 22, and Omar Karim, 25.

They were caught with five detonators, two gel explosives and several bomb-making ingredients, said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Detective Branch, Saidur Rahman.

“They are Rohingya militants, They have links to Rohingya Soliditary Organisation (RSO), Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) and Netherlands-based NGO Global Rohingya Center (GRC).”

Two suspected militants were killed at Burwan town on Oct 2 in explosions at a house that had been turned into a bomb-making facility. India’s National Investigation Agency said the house was being used by militants belonging to the JMB, a banned extremist group from Bangladesh.

Sheikh Rahmatullah Sajid, said to be the head of JMB’s module in the town, was arrested in Kolkata. Detectives believe he is known as Masum in his home town at Narayanganj’s Farazikanda.

Another Rohingya man Khalid Mohammad had been arrested from Hyderabad in connection with the incident.

Reports from Sittwe said the disturbances began on March 26 after an American staff member of Malteser International put a Buddhist flagin the back pocket of her pants, behaviour regarded by Buddhists as extremely insulting.

.Rumours about the incident spread and crowds surrounded the house of the aid worker as well as Malteser International offices in the city.

“Security personnel took all INGO staff in Sittwe to the airport at 2 pm or placed them under the protection of the State Government,” U Oo Thar Pwint said. He said only staff with the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, had remained in Sittwe.

Leaders of the Arakan National Party, a merger between the Arakan League for Democracy and the Rakhine Nationalities Development Part, the Sittwe Women’s Association and Buddhist monks worked in cooperation with the State Government to try to calm the situation after the emergency was declared.

BANGKOK, Dec 14 — Anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban said Thailand was now in a political vacuum where the People’s Council was the only solution to solve political problems, and reforms must be carried out before a general election.

Mr Suthep, People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) secretary general, told a public forum at Thammasat University that political reform should be done before the general election, set for February 2.

The forum was held by PDRC to exchange ideas among the general public and academics to seek political reform solutions.

Mr Suthep said that now the country was in a political vacuum as the Yingluck government had lost legitimacy.

If a People’s Council was instituted, it would lead to political reforms which would fix the flaws of various existing laws, he said, adding that when the legal matter was settled, a general election would then be held. This process would help the country weather the problems, he said.

Mr Suthep has also urged the rural doctors society nationwide to coordinate with provincial organisations in setting up PDRC representatives all over the country. (MCOT online news)

He said that Saturday’s public forum held by the PDRC at Thammasat University has received warm respond from all parts of the societies with more than 3,000 representatives from farmers, business sector, NGOs,  accepting the invitation to join.

Myanmar-Burma Protesters Force NGOs-MFS to Leave Town

Protesters in western Burma have caused two international non-governmental organizations (NGO) to leave a town after allegations that an aid group sided with Muslim Rohingyas in the recent clashes with local Buddhists. 

The protests started earlier this week following clashes near the town of Pauktaw. 

Local Buddhists complained the group Doctors Without Borders, also known by its French acronym MSF, only gave assistance to three wounded Muslims and abandoned two wounded Rakhine women, one of whom later died of her injuries.

But a Rakhine-based MSF official, Michele Trinite, said his group was only advised that Muslim men had been wounded.

International NGOs originally came to Rakhine State decades ago with the mandate of helping with the resettlement of Muslim returnees from Bangladesh under a U.N. Refugee Agency (UNHCR) project. However, they have started offering more diverse assistance in recent years, particularly after natural disasters and outbreaks of violence. 

Sectarian violence has been an ongoing concern in Rakhine state since last year, when clashes between Muslims and Buddhists killed more than 200 people and left 140,000 homeless last year.

ျမန္မာျပည္ကို၀င္ေရာက္အလုပ္လုပ္ခဲ့ၾကတဲ့ MSF ရဲ႕ အပိုင္းခြဲ သံုးပိုင္းျဖစ္တဲ့ MSF-France၊ MSF-Switzerland နဲ႔ MSF-Holland တို႔အ နက္မွာ ပထမဆံုးျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံနဲ႔ ထိစပ္အလုပ္လုပ္တာက MSF-France အပိုင္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ MSF-France ဟာ ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ေတာက္ ေလွ်ာက္မွာ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံကို၀င္မလာပဲ ၁၉၈၄ ခုႏွစ္ေလာက္ကတည္းက ႏွစ္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ က်ယ္က်ယ္ျပန္႔ျပန္႔ အလုပ္လုပ္ခဲ့တယ္။ ျမန္မာ ျပည္ထဲကို၀င္လာဖို႔ ပထမဦးဆံုးအႀကိမ္ေလွ်ာက္ထားတဲ့အခါ ေအာက္ပိုင္းဗ်ဴရိုကရက္ေတြက ေထာက္ခံေပးလိုက္ေပမယ့္ ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီးေတြ က စိစစ္တဲ့အဆင့္ကို ေရာက္တဲ့အခါက်တာ့၊ ထိုင္းနယ္စပ္ အကူအညီေပးေရးလႈပ္ရွားေဆာင္ရြက္မႈေတြ KNU နဲ႔ ဆက္စပ္မႈေတြေၾကာင့္ ပယ္ခ်ျခင္းခံရတယ္။
ဒါေၾကာင့္မို႔လို႔ MSF-Holland က (ဘဂၤါလီ) ရိုဟင္ဂ်ာအေရးနဲ႔ပတ္သက္လို႔ ၀င္ေရာက္ဖို႔အတြက္ လုပ္ေဆာင္တဲ့ေနရာမွာ သတိႀကီးစြာထားၿပီးလုပ္ေဆာင္ပါတယ္။ ပထမဦးဆံုးအခ်က္အေနနဲ႔ ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာနယ္စပ္မွာအလုပ္လုပ္ေနၾကတဲ့ MSF-France နဲ႔ သူတို႔ကို ဆက္စပ္မျမင္ မိေအာင္ MSF-Holland ဆိုတဲ့ သူတို႔နာမည္အရင္းမသံုးပဲ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ဒတ္ခ်္ဘာသာ နာမည္ AZG (Artsen zonder Grenzen) ကိုခံယူပါတယ္။ MSF ကိုမသံုးပဲ AZG ဆိုတဲ့နာမည္ကိုသံုးတာေၾကာင့္ MSF အသိုက္အ၀န္းရဲ႕ မ်က္ခံုးပင့္ၾကည့္မႈကို ခံရေသာ္ျငားလည္း ဒီလိုမ်က္ႏွာ ဖံုးစြပ္ လုပ္ရပ္ေၾကာင့္ ေအာင္ျမင္သြားပါတယ္။ AZG လို႔ပဲေခၚေခၚ MSF-Holland လို႔ပဲေခၚေခၚ သူတို႔အဖြဲ႕ဟာ ျမန္မာျပည္ထဲကို ေအာင္ေအာင္ ျမင္ျမင္၀င္လာႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္။ ရံုးစိုက္အေျခခ်မယ့္ AZG ရဲ႕ ပထမဆံုး တရား၀င္ကိုယ္စားလွယ္ေတာ္ ပုဂၢိဳလ္ျမတ္ဟာ ၁၉၉၂ ခုႏွစ္ ဇြန္န၀ါရီလမွာ ရန္ကုန္ၿမိဳ႕ကို ဆိုက္ေရာက္ေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
UNICEF ရဲ႕ ကမကထျပဳမႈအားျဖင့္ လုပ္ငန္းေတြကို စတင္ခ်ိတ္ဆက္တယ္။ UNICEF နဲ႔ အေဆာက္အအံု တစ္ခုတည္းမွာ ရံုးခန္းဖြင့္တယ္။ က်ဳပ္တို႔ရြာမွာ အရင္ေရာက္ႏွင့္ေနတဲ့ UNICEF ကေတာ့ AZG ကို ရြာကာလသားေတြနဲ႔မိတ္ဆက္ေပးၿပီး လမ္းေၾကာင္းရွင္း ေပးတယ္ လို႔ပဲ ဆိုပါေတာ့။
AZG က အကြက္က်က် ေျခလွမ္းေတြလွမ္းလာပံုကို ေဒါက္တာဖီအိုနာတယ္ရီက ဒီလို ေရးထားတယ္။
During the long period of negotiations to enter the country, AZG’s attention focused on the plight of Rohingyas in Rakhine State, following a government crackdown on dissent in 1991 and 1992 which provoked 250,000 to flee to Bangladesh. But access to Rakhine State was not what the government had in mind, and in its first year AZG was directed towards providing healthcare in Shwepyithar township on the outskirts of Yangon. AZG agreed to this proposal for “strategic” reasons, as a “foot-in-the-door” through which to build relationships of trust with officials, and encourage openings in areas with more pressing needs.
AZG ရဲ႕ အဓိကအာရံုစူးစိုက္ေနတဲ့ အေရးအရာက ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ထဲက ဘဂၤါလီ (ရိုဟင္ဂ်ာ) ေတြရဲ႕အေရးျဖစ္ေပမယ့္၊ ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ဘက္ကို AZG ကို သြားလာဆက္သြယ္ခြင့္ေပးဖို႔ကို အစိုးရက စိတ္ကူးထဲမွာေတာင္ ထည့္မထားတဲ့အခ်ိန္ဆိုေတာ့ ရန္ကုန္၊ ေရႊျပည္သာၿမိဳ႕နယ္မွာ ေဆးခန္းတစ္ခန္းဖြင့္တဲ့ ေျခလွမ္းကို “မဟာဗ်ဴဟာေျမာက္” ေျခလွမ္းအေနနဲ႔ စတင္လွမ္းလိုက္ပါတယ္တဲ့။
ဒါဟာ သူတို႔အေခၚ “foot-in-the-door” လို႔ေခၚတဲ့ သက္ဆိုင္ရာအရာရွိမ်ားနဲ႔ ခ်စ္ၾကည္မႈတည္ေဆာက္ေရး ေျခလွမ္းမ်ိဳးျဖစ္တယ္။ ဒါက မွတစ္ဆင့္ အရာရွိႀကီးေတြနဲ႔ ေဂါက္ရိုက္တာတို႔၊ အရာရွိႀကီးေတြကို လက္ေဆာင္ေပးတာ မိတ္ေဆြဖြဲ႕တာတို႔လုပ္ၿပီး မိမိတို႔သြားခ်င္တဲ့ ေနရာဆီ တျဖည္းျဖည္းေရာက္ေအာင္ သြားႏိုင္မွာမို႔လို႔ျဖစ္တယ္။

ယေန႕ညေန ၆နာရီခန္႕က ေပါက္ေတာၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ဆင္အိုင္ေက်းရြာမွ ရခိုင္အမ်ိဳးသမီးသ့ုးဦးငါးရွာသြားစဥ္ အနီးရွိ ငွက္ေခ်ာင္းေက်းရြာမွ ကုလာမ်ားေရာက္လာၿပီးအၾကမ္းဖက္တိုက္ခိုက္သျဖင့္ တစ္ဦးေသဆံုးၿပီး တစ္ဦးဒဏ္ရာျပင္းထန္သျဖင့္ စစ္ေတြေဆးရံုသို႕ယူလာရေၾကာင္းသိရသည္။
လွံထိုးဒဏ္ရာျဖင့္ေသဆ့ုးသူမွ မလွခင္ (၃၀ႏွစ္)ျဖစ္ၿပီး ဒဏ္ရာရသူမွာ မေမသန္းခင္ (၁၈ႏွစ္)ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းသိရသည္။ဤျဖစ္စဥ္မျဖစ္မီ ညေန သံုးနာရီခန္႕က ဆင္တေမာ္ကုလားဒုကၡသည္စခန္းမွ ကုလားမ်ားသည္ ဆင္တေမာ္ရွိ ဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးေက်ာင္းပိုင္ေနရာမ်ားသို႕ထင္းရွာရန္လာေသာကုလားမ်ားကို ရြာရွိလူမ်ားက ထင္းမခုတ္ရန္ တားေသာအခါ ကုလားမ်ားက အုပ္စုလိုက္၀ိုင္းလာၾကသည္။ လံုျခံဳေရးမ်ားက လွမ္းတားသျဖင့္ ကုလားတစ္ေယာက္ဒဏ္ရာရသြားသည္ဟုသိရသည္။

ဒဏ္ရာရေသာကုလားအတြက္ ကုလားအားေပး NGO ျဖစ္သည့္ ICRC မွ အျမန္ဘုတ္ျဖင့္သယ္ယူေပးၿပီး ဆင္အိုင္ရြာမွ ဒဏ္ရာရေသာ တိုင္းရင္းသားအမ်ိဳးသမီးငယ္အတြက္မူ မည္သို႕မွ စီစဥ္ေပးျခင္းမရွိဟုသိရသည္။

ဆင္တေမာ္ ငွက္ေခ်ာင္းကုလာရြာမ်ားသည္ ပဋိပကၡျဖစ္ေသာအျခားေနရာမွ ကုလားမ်ားပါေနထိုင္လာၾကသျဖင့္ လူဦးေရအဆမတန္မ်ားျပားလာၿပီး အနီးအနားရွိ ရခိုင္မ်ားအတြက္ လံုျခံဳေရးအားနဲကာ သက္ေမြး၀မ္းေၾကာင္းအလုပ္မ်ားပင္မလုပ္နိဳင္ျဖစ္ေနၾကရသည္။

ကုလားမ်ားသည္ OIC ျမန္မာနိဳင္ငံသို႕လာမည္အခ်ိန္ႏွင့္တိုက္ဆိုင္စြာ ျပသနာလုပ္ေနၾကာင္း ေဒသခံမ်ားက သံုးသပ္ေျပာဆိုေနၾကသည္။
