ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2558 เวลา 09.20 น. ทางทีมข่าวแม่สายนิวส์ออนไลน์ ได้ลงพื้นที่ไปยัง ฝั่งประเทศเมียนม่าร์ เพื่อเกาะติดเหตุการณ์ น้อง บี (นามสมุติ) ที่ได้ถูกคนร้ายลักพาตัวจนถูกทำร้ายจนเสียชีวิตทิ้งศพลอยน้ำมาติดตรงที่ท่ากระหล่ำ ซึ่งศพน้อง บี ได้นำมาตั้งบำเพ็ญกุศลที่วัดพระเจ้าระแข่ง
จากการสัมภาษณ์ญาติของเหยื่อผู้เสียชีวิตได้ข้อมูลมาว่า พ่อกับแม่ของ น้อง บี นั้นได้แยกทางกันตั้งแต่ น้องบี อายุได้ 3 ขวบ มีแต่ตากับยายเท่านั้นที่ดูแลน้อง ซึ่งน้องบี นั้นได้อาศัยอยู่บ้านเลขที่4/187บ้านมะก๋าหัวคำ จ.ท่าขี้เหล็ก จนมาถูกคนร้ายทำให้เสียชีวิตไปอย่างน่าสลดใจทั้งๆที่ตอนนี้ยังไม่พบเบาะแสของฆาตรกรใจโหด
ทีมข่าวจึงขอแจ้งผ่านว่าศพของน้องจะตั้งบำเพ็ญกุศลที่วัดพระเจ้าระเเข่ง และจะทำการฌาปณกิจศพ ในวันที่ 2 เมษายน 2558 ในเวลา 13.00 น.

The Spanish cyclist who disappeared from Yangon General Hospital while seeking medical treatment for multiple slashes has been found at Sakura Hospital, according to the police.
“He seemed to be seeking treatment at Sakura without getting permission from Yangon General. We still don’t know how he left Yangon General. We believe he chose the hospital that he thought was the best. He is still at Sakura,” Lt-Colonel Win Kyi from the Yangon West District Police Force said.
While cycling from Bago to Yangon, the man, identified only as Carlos, 31, was attacked by two unknown men on the highway near Bago on Monday night. He sustained 13 wounds and was taken first to Bago Hospital before being transferred to Yangon General the next day.
The cyclist has been touring across Turkey, China, Mongolia, Yunnan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and Kawkareik, Myawady, Hpa-An and Mawlamyaing in Myanmar.

 

Police say hospitalised Spanish tourist is missing

A Spanish tourist receiving treatment at Yangon General Hospital after sustaining multiple slash wounds this week was found missing on Tuesday night, according to Yangon West District Police Force.
“We have yet to know whether the Spanish tourist is missing or has fled after arriving at the Yangon hospital. We are investigating this in cooperation with authorities concerned. As we don’t have the Spanish embassy here (in Myanmar), we are trying to contact him via the consulates,” Police Lt-Colonel Win Kyi from the Yangon West District Police Force told The Daily Eleven on Thursday.
Carlos, 31, was attacked by two unknown men while on a bike ride at Mile Post No.43/1 on the old Yangon-Mandalay Highway at the exit of Bago Region at about 10 p.m. on Monday. He was taken to a field and attacked by unknown men using an iron rod and a sword. His backpack, money and bike were also reportedly stolen by the attackers.
The Spanish tourist who sustained 13 slash wounds was sent to Bago People’s Hospital and later transferred to Yangon General Hospital.

5 DECEMBER 2014 BUKIT MERTAJAM: Police discovered a “slaughterhouse” at Cherok Tokun, where Myanmar nationals were believed to have been killed and dismembered.

Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said two Myanmar nationals aged between 30 and 40 were detained at the homes in a village last night.

“These men have been renting two units at a village here for the past four months.

“They have carried out the butchering at one unit, and lived in another unit six doors away,” he said when met at the scene today.

Police say that these were revenge killings and was among Myanmar nationals.

On Nov 24, a package containing a human head was in front of a restaurant at Taman Impian Ria, Bukit Mertajam.

On Thursday, residents found a headless torso and a hand inside a gunny sack in a canal at Sungai Bakap.

On Monday, a human head and left arm were found in a plastic bag near a garbage bin at Machang Bubok, near here.

So far, police have detained over 15 Myanmar nationals facilitate investigations into the heinous killings of their countrymen.

The spate of killings and the gruesome find of bodies in many different places of Penang have raised concerns of possible communal clashes between Myanmar nationals.

Police, however, denied there were communal clashes in the community but were merely revenge killings over debt, jealousy and other social issues.

CHIANG MAI, 27 November 2014 (NNT) – Narcotic suppression police have apprehended two men in the northern province of Chiang Mai after discovering hundreds of thousands of methamphetamine pills hidden in their vehicle. The commander of the Pha Muang Task Force and the deputy commander of the Chiang Mai Provincial Police together held a press conference to announce the arrest of two hill tribe brothers, aged 25 and 28, for possession and trafficking of narcotic substances. The suspects were reportedly pulled over at a checkpoint while driving on Highway 107 towards the central district of Chiang Mai. Authorities found their behavior suspicious and conducted a search on their pickup truck before discovering more than 500,000 tablets of methamphetamine hidden in a secret compartment. The truck had been modified specifically for the purpose. After interrogation, the police revealed that the culprits had been hired to deliver the drug, which had been smuggled in through the border, to dealers in Phitsanulok province in order for the lot to be sent to its final destination in Bangkok. 18/11.The body of Swiss tourist, Hanspeter Suter, 44, who went missing since Saturday evening of November 8 from Koh Tao was found on the shore in Lang Suan district of Chumphon this morning.

Lamare station police confirmed the body on the shore in Lamare beach belonged to Mr Hanspeter as all identifications they were earlier given by police in Phangan island matched those on the body.

Lamare station police said villagers at Lamare beach found the body of a foreigner being washed ashore on Lamare beach.

All identifications on the dead body matched those being given earlier to them by the police in Phangan Island who sought their help to look for missing Swiss tourist from Koh Tao since November 8.

They said identifications such as tattoo on the back, a gold teeth on upper jaw, wearing orange shorts and black shoes matched with the body on the beach.

They said the body of Mr Hanspeter was being sent to Surat Thani hospital for forensic examination this afternoon.

One of his friends Michael Phillip Klissing will also go to the hospital to identify the body.

Earlier, Koh Tao tourist police said Hanspeter Suter, 44, had just completed a dive master scuba course on the tourist resort island.

Three days before he went missing, he was told by a doctor that he should not swim because it could lead to blindness.

Police said Mr Suter was under stress and did not have any money.

He rented snorkelling gear from a shop on the beach late Saturday.

He left his passport and personal items there, but did not take a life jacket with him. He did not return to the shop since then.

Sairee Beach is the same area where two British tourists, Hannah Witheridge and David Miller, were murdered in September.

Deputy commander of Surat Thani police Pol.Col. Sonthichai Arwattanakullathep said yesterday that a forensic examination revealed that the unidentified body is not Hanspeter Suter, who went missing on 8 November. Police have yet to identify the dead body that was found on 14 November, though Pol.Col. Sonthichai speculated that the deceased may have been European because “the body has a tattoo that’s popular among Europeans.”

The body of a man suspected to be the missing Swiss tourist was found on the beach in Khanom district of Nakhon Si Thammarat Friday morning.
The body was badly decomposed and could not be identified. However, his blue plant is still on and there are two wrist bands and tattoos are still visible on his arms.

61-year old Mr Chamnong Srisang stumbled on the body swept on the beach as he was jogging. He then alerted the police who quickly arrived at the scene with rescue workers.

Police prohibited the rescue workers from posting the body on the social media until it could be determined who he was. The body was later sent to the forensic medicine centre in Surat Thani for examination and identification.

It was initially suspected that the body could belong to a Swiss tourist who went missing from Koh Tao in Surat Thani on November 8. THAIPBS

YANGON, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) –– Myanmar’s Mandalay regional police force has confiscated some documents related to a terrorist organization believed to have been left by a foreigner in a domestic scheduled flight, local sources said Tuesday.

The documents containing some details about Islamic State (IS) terrorist group were found by cleaners of the Kanbawza Airline at Thada Oo Airport of Mandalay when the flight stopped over there on its arranged schedule from Yangon to Heho via Nyaung Oo and Mandalay, the sources quoted the police as saying.

The passenger had dropped at Nyaung Oo airport before the documents were discovered, the sources added.

Investigations are underway over the case.

Myanmar authorities has tightened security in Yangon region, especially religious buildings, ever since Al-Qaida leader Ayman al Zawahiri announced new focus on Myanmar, Bangladesh and India in September.

Earlier in the month, a video featuring Zawahiri describing the launch of a new branch in the Indian subcontinent with the aim of expanding jihad to the region was released.

Following Al-Qaida’s statement, the Burmese Muslim Association (BMA) denied to accept it, urging people to live together in harmony regardless of racial and religious differences and calling on the government to prevent sharing of terrorism belief in the country through systematic programs.

Precautionary measures have been reportedly taken by armed forces to beef up check points and monitor infiltration of terrorists.7

“The documents are information that is freely available on the internet, we believe the documents were left by a foreigner,” said the Lt Col.

“We have questioned an Australian citizen in relationship to the case,” he added “but the individual said he did not sit in that seat and the papers were not his.”

“We are continuing our investigations into other persons who were aboard the flight.”
