เมื่อวันที่ 30 ต.ค. 58 เจ้าหน้าที่ทหารพราน จากกรมทหารพรานที่ 33 เข้าร่วมปฎิบัติการด้านความมั่นคง พร้อมกับชุดปฎิบัติการ ของ พ.ต.ท.สำราญ มากจันทร์ สวญ.สภ.อัยเยอร์เวง อ.เบตง จ.ยะลา พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ ฝ่ายปกครอง เข้าตรวจสอบเหตุคนร้ายลอบวางระเบิดเสาไฟฟ้าริมถนนสาย 410 ยะลา-เบตง บริเวณบ้าน กม. 40 หมู่ 6 ต.อัยเยอร์เวง อ.เบตง เมื่อคืนที่ผ่านมา พบเสาไฟฟ้าถูกแรงระเบิดหักโค่นไป 1 ต้น และยังพบว่าเสาไฟฟ้าอีก 2 ต้น มีลูกระเบิดผูกติดไว้ จึงประสาน พ.ต.ต.สุเทพ ชูแก้ว ผบ.ร้อย ตชด.445 นำเจ้าหน้าที่ชุดเก็บกู้วัตถุระเบิดเข้าสนับสนุนทำการเก็บกู้ระเบิดทั้ง 2 ลูก เจ้าหน้าที่ชุดเก็บกู้วัตถุระเบิดใช้เวลาประมาณ 2 ชม. จึงสามารถเก็บกู้วัตถุระเบิดไว้ได้ และนำไปทำลาย

เมื่อวันที่ 19 ต.ค.58 เวลาประมาณ 08.45 น. จนท. ตร.ชป.วาสุกรี 01ออก ว.4 สนน.ตรวจสอบเหตุเผารถ จยย. ม.4 ต.มะนังดาลำ อ.สายบุรี จว.ปัตตานี เมื่อถึง จุดเกิดเหตุบริเวณถนนสายชนบท บ.เกราะพลอง ต.มะนังดาลำ ฯ คนร้ายได้กดชนวนระเบิดแต่พลาดเป้าไม่มีผู้ใดได้รับบาดเจ็บ จากตรวจสถานที่เกิดเหตุ พบวัตถุพยานดังนี้
1.ภาชนะบรรจุเป็นถังแก๊สหุงต้มขนาดบรรจุ 4 กก. เมื่อประกอบเป็น IED นน.ประมาณ 20-25 กก.
2.จุดระเบิดด้วยระบบไฟฟ้าโดยวิธีการบังคับจุดระเบิดจากระยะไกล ด้วยวิทยุสื่อสารยี่ห้อ TYT TH-F8 พ่วงวงจรถอดรหัส DTMF ย่านความถี่ 144.250

– แบตเตอรี่ขนาด 1.5 โวลต์ จำนวน 20 ก้อน
– แบตเตอรี่ขนาด 9 โวลต์ จำนวน 6 ก้อน

One military personnel and two civilians were killed in four bomb explosions believed detonated by militants in Narathiwat’s Ra-ngae district Thursday night.
At least, two other soldiers and one civilian were also injured in the blasts which took place at about 7 pm behind Ra-ngae municipal’s market, behind Wat Singholsittharam, in front of the district’s post office and in front of a karao-ke bar.

A car suspected to be a car bomb was found in front of the district hospital prompting security forces to seal off the area as members of the explosive ordnance disposal team probed the vehicle.

NARATHIWAT, 18 September 2015 (NNT) – Royal Thai Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr has ordered officials in the restive South to raise the level of security after the latest bombing while admitting that the peace dialogue still requires more time.

In the wake of a deadly bomb attack in Ra-ngae district of Narathiwat on Thursday, Gen Udomdej pointed out that the incident was another attempt of the insurgent network to incite fear among local residents. He affirmed that authorities have managed to keep the situation under control and will now work harder to ensure maximum safety for everyone. Special attention is being given as insurgent violence often occurred around the end of the fiscal year in the past.

Despite the latest incident, the Army Chief insisted that the number of attacks has decreased from last year. As for the government’s peace talks with various insurgent groups, he revealed that more time needs to be allowed for the process since no concrete agreements have been reached so far.

Gen Udomdej pleaded with all unrest instigators to put aside their separatist ideology and turn to cooperate with the government in developing the nation for the happiness of all Thai people.

10/4/2015 Powerful car bomb exploded at the underground parking lot of Central Festival department store in Samui Island, wounding six people.

Ten cars were damaged in the explosion.

Meanwhile a fire also broke out at Sahakorn Coop food centre in Surat Thani, almost at the same time as the explosion in Samui Island, burning down its warehouse where Otop products were stored.

The explosion at Central Festival store at 10.30 pm Friday night came as shoppers were still shopping inside the store.

A government-appointed panel will visit Lee Peh island off Satun province on April 9-10 to try to work out a compromise settlement on land conflicts between the indigenous Le people and resort operators.
Admiral Surin Pikulthong, head of the panel, told Thai PBS that the conflicts stemmed from the issuance of land certificates by provincial land officials trespassing on the traditional land and even cemetery of the Le islanders or Sea Gypsies.

He said that the Le islanders have been living on their traditional land for over 100 years and they are now facing eviction from the new landowners who are mostly rich and powerful resort operators.

Although half of the island has been declared national park, it is dotted with hotels, resorts, restaurants and tour offices, he said, adding that land is scarce on the island and it now fetches between 10-20 million baht per rai.

About 300 families of the Sea Gypsies who have been evicted from their traditional land are now squeezed into narrow stripe sandwiched by resorts.

Mr Panapol Chivaserichon, the park chief, said that there were three influential land brokers who sold most of land on the island to resort developers and he suspected irregularity in the issuance of land certificates.

It was reported that one land certificate covers eight plots of land.

Meanwhile, some Sea Gypsies said they were forced to sell their land otherwise they safety might be in peril. cr. thaipbs

Two police officers were injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Ruesor district of Narathiwat province this morning.
The two officers identified as Lance Corporals Hasan Poji and Yutaporn Silabutr. Both were admitted to Ruesor hospital.

The roadside bomb was detonated as the two officers were on a patrol on the road in front of a petrol station, about 400 metres off Ruesor police station.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal team arrived this morning to inspect the scene and sealed the area for clearance if there was still any bomb left behind to harm the EOD police.
