Protestors Move Campaign to City Hall

Dozens of displaced residents who have for nine months staged a camp-in protest in downtown Rangoon escalated their campaign on Friday, blocking the entrance to City Hall. The protestors say the Burma Army evicted them from their homes in Rangoon’s Michaungkan quarter more than two decades ago

Burma military officer ,Major Kyaw Swar Win was sentenced to two years in prison for signing a petition calling for an end to the military grip on the constitution drafted by the former regime.Maj. Kyaw Swar Win has been in military custody since early April after he was photographed signing what appears to be a pro-amendment petition circulated by the National League for Democracy (NLD) party.

စစ္တပ္က အဓမၼေျမသိမ္းခဲ့တဲ့အေပၚ ရက္ေပါင္း ရာနဲ႔ခ်ီ ဆႏၵျပသပိတ္စခန္းဖြင့္ထားတဲ့ မိေက်ာင္းကန္ သပိတ္ခန္းက ဆႏၵျပသူ ၅ဝေလာက္ ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္ခမ္းမေရွ႕မွာ ထိုင္ၿပီး ဖေယာင္းတိုင္ထြန္း ဆႏၵျပ ေၾကြးေၾကာ္ေနတာကို ရန္ကုန္ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္ စည္ပင္သာယာေရးေကာ္မတီက ေဆာင္းေဘာက္စ္ ၂လံုး၊ ေလာ္စပီကာ ၂လံုးနဲ႔ Rap သီခ်င္းေတြကို ဆူညံေအာင္ ဖြင့္ထားၿပီး တုံ႔ျပန္လိုက္ပါတယ္။
ဆႏၵျပသူေတြရဲ႕ ေၾကြးေၾကာ္သံေတြကို ၿမိဳ႕လည္ေခါင္တဝိုက္ ဆူညံေနတဲ့ သီခ်င္းသံေတြနဲ႔ ရန္ကုန္စည္ပင္က ညေန ၅နာရီတုံ႔ျပန္လိုက္တာေၾကာင့္ ဝိုင္းအံုၾကည့္႐ႈေနတဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြဟာ ဆႏၵျပမႈျဖစ္ပြားရာမွာ တိုးပြားလာေနပါတယ္။
