Khalid, who is believed to hail from Myanmar’s Rakhine state, is reportedly associated with the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation — set up in the early 1980s to fight for citizenship and rights for the minority Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
He is alleged to be involved inrunning terror camps in bordering areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Officials said incriminating videos of training material, literature relating to poisons, IED making, bomb making, explosives and jihad were found from his possession.
The seized documents also allegedly include jihadi literature pertaining to the Islamic State.
NIA sources said that Khalid has admitted to having undergone terror training conducted by the Tehreek-e-Azadi-Arakan with trainers from Tehreek-e-Taliban-Pakistan.
