Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of Suthin Tharathin, a coordinator of the People’s Army for the Overthrow of Thaksin Regime, in front of Wat Sri-iam, Bang Na on January 26.
Pol Lt-Gen Chaiyong Kiratikachorn, assistant national police chief, said Wednesday that the suspect, Sukit Chaimongkol, was arrested at his house in Samrong.

A warrant for the arrest of Sukit was issued by the Criminal Court for involvement in the killing of Suthin during the anti-government protests staged by the People’s Democratic Reform Committee.

Pol Lt-Gen Chaiyong disclosed that ballistic tests, spent shells and bullets found at the scene of the gun attack in front of Wat Sri-iam matched with the police record of a handgun owned by Sukit. He said that witnesses also claimed to have seen the suspect at the crime scene.

เมื่อเวลา 15.00 น. คนร้ายไม่ทราบจำนวน ใช้อาวุธปืนไม่ทราบชนิด และขนาด ยิงนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยการสาธารณสุขสิรินธร จังหวัดยะลา ซึ่งไปฝึกงาน รพ.สมเด็จพระยุพราชยะหา เสียชีวิตในที่เกิดเหตุ จำนวน 2 ราย
1.นางสาวสุธีรา เพชรจันทร์ อายุ 29 ปี ภูมิลำเนา จ.สงขลา
2.นางสาวกุลรดี เพชรมาก อายุ 21 ปี ภูมิลำเนา อ.ทุ่งสง จ.นครศรีธรรมราช
เหตุเกิดบริเวณตลาดนัด( ทุกวันพุธ ) เยื้องโรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระยุพราชยะหา บ้านลากอ หมู่ที่ 4 ต.ยะหา อ.ยะหา จ.ยะลา

 

 

Two female students were shot dead by suspected separatists as they went shopping at a flea market in Yaha district of Yala province Wednesday afternoon.
The two victims were identified as Ms Sutheera Petchan, 29, a native of Songkhla and Ms Kulradee Petmark, 21, a native of Thung Song district of Nakhon Si Thammarat. Both were students of Sirindhorn public health college in Yala.

The two students were designated to undergo training at Somdej Phra Yupparach hospital since July 1. On Wednesday afternoon after having finished the training course of the day, they left the hospital on foot to Ban La Kor flea market to buy food for their dinner.

As they were walking in the market, two suspected separatists approached them from behind and they fired one shot each with handguns at point-blank range on the heads of the two victims.

The two students died instantly at the market while the assailants escaped.

The Land Investigation Commission is calling for compensation to be paid to farmers whose land was taken to build a golf course near the capital.
The farmland was expropriated in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area to build a golf course in Shwe Kyar Pin Ward of Zabuthiri Township, it said in a report.
Farmers were given Ks 250,000-350,000 per acre but were also promised new land plots, which they have not received, the report said. As a result, the farmers should receive more compensation, it recommends.
The report also draws attention to a case in Ward 6 of Lewe Township where a total of 113 households were removed for a development project. Each family was promised new land, but only 13 received plots. The report recommends that the remaining 100 families receive compensation.
Compensation should also be paid to the residents of the six villages removed to make way for Nay Pyi Taw International Airport, and those who lost land to build the Thawuthti-Bawgathiri City Detour Road in the capital, the report says.
Compensation was paid to residents of some townships in Bago Region who lost land for the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, but residents of numerous other townships in different regions who lost land to the expressway have yet to receive compensation, the report says.
It notes that a total of 202.13 acres of farmland was expropriated to build the Dahatgon Sugar Plant in Tatkon Township in Nay Pyi Taw but only 69.78 acres of this was used for the plant. The rest was not returned to the farmers it was taken from and they should be compensated as well as given permission to farm the land, the report says.
Land grabbing was rife under previous governments, the report says, adding that it occurred without rules, regulations or compensation.

Land Grabbing is a serious problem in Burma. If this is for industrial development, we need to make sure it doesn’t hurt the livelihood of the people. The negative impacts on local communities is unbearable and we urge the investors to make sure to consider this before they invest which involve land expansions.

Land Grabbing problem in Burma is getting to its hight as the government aggressivly grab lands from locals. The international communities should highlight on this issue as there is no voice for the poor locals.

มีรายงานข่าวว่า นายสุกิจ ชัยมงคล ผู้ต้องหาคดีสังหารนายสุทิน ธราทิน แกนนำ กปท.ที่หน้าวัดศรีเอี่ยม ย่านบางนา ถูกจับกุมตัวพร้อมยึดอาวุธปืนที่ใช้ก่อเหตุไว้เป็นหลักฐานได้แล้ว แต่ผู้ต้องหายังคงปฏิเสธ

วันนี้ (9 ก.ค.) ที่สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ (ตร.) นางสาโรจน์ ธราทิน มารดานายสุทิน ธราทิน แกนนำกลุ่มกองทัพประชาชนและเครือข่ายปฏิรูปพลังงานไทย (กคป.)พร้อมด้วยนายทศพล แก้วทิมา แกนนำ กคป.เดินทางเข้าพบและมอบดอกไม้ขอบคุณ พล.ต.อ.เอก อังสนานนท์ รองผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ (รอง ผบ.ตร.) ด้านป้องกันปราบปรามอาชญากรรม พล.ต.ท.ชัยยง กีรติขจร พล.ต.ท.ก่อเกียรติ วงศ์วรชาติ ผู้ช่วย ผบ.ตร. และคณะพนักงานสอบสวน หลังจากมีการออกหมายจับและจับกุมมือยิงนายสุทินได้ พร้อมกันมีการนำหลักฐานยืนยันว่านายธวัชชัย พรหมจันทร์ ที่ถูกออกหมายจับก็เป็นแกนนำ กปท.และไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์

พล.ต.ท.ชัยยงเปิดเผยว่า ล่าสุดตำรวจสามารถจับกุมนายสุรกริช ชัยมงคล ผู้ต้องหาร่วมกันยิงนายสุทินเสียชีวิตระหว่างขึ้นรถปราศรัยต่อต้านการเลือกตั้งย่านบางนา ช่วงเหตุชุมนุม กปปส.ที่ผ่านมาได้แล้ว โดยศาลได้อนุมัติหมายจับนายสุรกริชเมื่อวานนี้ (8 ก.ค.) และล่าสุดเมื่อเวลา 05.00 น.ตำรวจตามจับกุมได้ที่บ้านพักใน อ.พระประแดง จ.สมุทรปราการ จากพยานหลักฐานเชื่อได้ว่านายสุกิจเป็นมือปืนที่ยิงนายสุทิน แต่จากการสอบสวนเบื้องต้นให้การภาคเสธ รับเป็นเจ้าของอาวุธปืน แต่ไม่รับว่าเป็นคนยิง ตอนนี้ควบคุมตัวที่สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ

ผู้ช่วย ผบ.ตร.กล่าวว่า การออกหมายจับนายสุรกริชเนื่องจากชุดสืบสวนลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบที่เกิดเหตุและนำภาพวงจรปิด ภาพถ่ายที่มีมาดูซ้ำ ตนดูประมาณ 20 รอบพบว่าวิถีการยิงจากข้างล่างขึ้นบน กระสุนเข้าทางใต้ราวนมขวาเฉียงขึ้นทะลุศีรษะเป็นรูใหญ่ ตรวจสอบพบใช้อาวุธปืนขนาด 11 มม.ยิงระยะใกล้ไม่เกิน 20 เมตร จึงจำกัดวงคนร้ายต้องอยู่ในระยะรัศมี 20 เมตรรอบตัวนายสุทิน ทำให้ตัดคนที่อยู่นอกรัศมีออกได้ นอกจากนี้ พบหัวกระสุน 2 หัว และปลอกกระสุน 4 ปลอก ขนาด 11 มม.ทั้งหมด จึงนำไปตรวจเปรียบเทียบกับอาวุธปืนที่เคยใช้ก่อเหตุในระบบของตำรวจ ก็ไปตรงกับปืนกระบอกหนึ่งซึ่งมีนายสุรกริชเป็นผู้ครอบครองและเคยถูกจับกุมข้อหาครอบครองอาวุธปืนก่อนหน้านี้
จากนั้นตรวจสอบจากประจักษ์พยานซึ่งเป็นผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บในเหตุการณ์นี้ยืนยันภาพในที่เกิดเหตุว่าเห็นนายสุรกริชอยู่ในจุดเกิดเหตุในระยะ 3 เมตร จึงนำไปสู่การขออนุมัติหมายจับและจับกุมได้ในวันนี้ ทั้งนี้เบื้องต้นเชื่อว่านายสุรกริชที่เป็นเจ้าของปืนเป็นผู้ยิงนายสุทิน โดยการสืบสวนทราบว่านายสุรกริชเป็นกลุ่มแนวร่วมฝ่ายตรงข้ามของนายสุทินด้วย อย่างไรก็ตามขณะนี้ยังไม่มีการอนุมัติหมายจับเพิ่มเติม

เมื่อเวลา 18.00 น. พล.ต.อ.สมยศ พุ่มพันธุ์ม่วง รอง ผบ.ตร.แถลงข่าวจับกุมนายธานัท ธนวัชรานนท์ หรือ “ทอม ดันดี” ตามหมายจับของศาลทหาร ข้อหาละเมิด ม.112 กรณีขึ้นปราศรัยบนเวทีอนุสรณ์สถานฯ และพูดในรายการวิทยุเรดการ์ด ของโกตี๋ โดยมีหมายจับ 2 คดี ความผิดหมิ่นเบื้องสูง ผิดมาตรา 112

1.หมายจับของศาลทหาร ที่106/2557 ลงวันที่ 7ก.ค.57
2.หมายจับศาลอาญา ที่ 1152/2557 ลงวันที่7ก.ค.57

โดยตำรวจจับกุมตัวนายทอม ดันดี ได้ที่บ้านเลขที่ 84 ม.4 ต.ท่าไม้รวก อ.ท่ายาง เพชรบุรี ขณะที่นายทอม ดันดี ยอมรับว่าตนเป็นคนพูดหมิ่นเบื้องสูงตามคลิปที่ปรากฎในคลิปทางยูทูปจริง ส่วนผู้โพสยูทูปเพื่อทำกาเผยแพร่ ตร.จะสืบสวนหาคนผิดต่อไป โดยหลังจากนี้จะนำตับนายทอม ดันดี ส่งให้พนักงานสอบสวน และส่งฟ้องศาลต่อไป

นอกจากนี้ ตร.ยังอยู่ระหว่างการตรวจสอบการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลที่อาจมีเนื้อหะเมิด ม.112 อีก 2 คดี หากพบว่ามีความผิดจริงจะดำเนินการตามกฎหมาย cr. cathay mee
