The Army deputy spokesman Col Winthai Suvari said the Army’s staff judge advocate has filed the complaints with Don Muang police urging them to consider lese majeste and treason charge on Kotee.
He said the army reiterated to do its duties and that any expression or move should be according to the laws.
The treason charge was considered from his involvement in erecting banners that supported the secession of the country, Col Winthai said, while lese majeste was filed because the suspect had spoken on stages and radio program comments that were considered lese majesty.
The Air Force commander-in-chief Air Chief Marshal Prachin Chantong also ordered legal authorities of the Air Force to see the police to discuss the charges to be levied on the hardcore redshirt.
He said that if the police did not handle the case properly, then the Air Force will pursue the case to the court by itself same as what the Army was doing.
March 8— Maj Gen Dr Rienthong Nanna, director of Mongkutwattana General Hospital, condemned last night’s shooting attack at the hospital on Chaeng Wattana Road.
The incident occurred at about 8pm on Friday when unknown attackers fired at this privately-run hospital which is near the PDRC rally site led by Phra Buddha Issara. The shooting caused some damage to the hospital but no one was injured.
After the attack on the hospital, Dr Rienthong posted a photo and a message on his Facebook page last night to condemn the assault.
He said that hospitals or medical units have never been targets of attacks even during world wars or any wartime, affirming that the hospital treated both People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) supporters and their opponents fairly and without discrimination.
The hospital director admitted that there are hospital officials who support the PDRC movement and those that oppose the PDRC but they can work together and coexist peacefully, adding that the attack might lead to conflict between both sides.
However, the hospital would not file a complaint regarding the attack, Dr Rienthong said, explaining that he was not confident in and could not rely on the caretaker government.
He also asked for army units stationed in Chaeng Wattana zone to provide security.
