The Criminal Court was rocked with a loud explosion at 11 a.m. today prompting security personnel and soldiers to rush to the scene for inspection.
Primary inspection showed the loud explosion was caused by a hand grenade thrown at fence of the court near the exit gate. It exploded at the fence.
Damage is still being assessed by security officials.
Another grenade was also found thrown at the court compound but did not explode. It landed near a car park area of the court.
