THAILAND:Jarupong cries foul as power, water cut at home BY ANTI GOVERNMENT PROTESTERS

BANGKOK, Jan 15 – Pheu Thai Party leader/caretaker Interior Minister Jarupong Ruangsuwan urged human rights agencies to protect his basic rights after electricity and water supply at his residence were cut by protesters.

Anti-government demonstrators of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) today cut the water and electricity lines at Mr Jarupong’s residence on Soi Lat Phrao 19.

Mr Jarupong commented that water and electricity are basic needs to lead a normal life. He said it’s up to the public if they are fine with the fact that the PDRC shut all the basic facilities, create protests and block roads.

The caretaker minister asked if human rights organisations have awakened to protect the basic rights of the people to have water and electricity.

Mr Jarupong said he had sent his representative to lodge a complaint against the culprits.

“It’s alright. They cut it. We can fix it. This way, the country will go to a dark path and reach no solution. But if the cutting of electricity and water will bring about a general election, I have no problem with it,”  the caretaker minister said. (MCOT online news)

Farmers from five northern provinces will blockade the Asian Highway

Farmers from five northern provinces will blockade the Asian Highway and heighten their protest to oust the caretaker government after the government failed to pay them as promised today.

Farmer leader Kittisak Ratanawaraha, president of the Network for Northern Farmers, said now farmers from Phichit, Nakhon Sawan, Sukhothai, Kamphaengpet and Phitsanulok are prepared for the next move to block the highway after they did not receive money from the bank as they were earlier promised.

He said instead of calling for money, now farmers will press for the ouster of the caretaker government.

He said farmers will block the Asian Highway from Phitsanulok to Nakhon Sawan at Yaek Po-ngam intersectin in Bung Narang district on Friday.

Some farmers from Phichit were paid but many were not after they were told that the bank has been allocated merely180 million baht.

Meanwhile farmers  in some northeastern provinces were also paid for their rice today.

A total of 40,000 farmers in Maha Sarakham province in the Northeast sold rice to the government under the rice-pledging scheme. Now 10,000 of them were paid but the rest were not paid  yet.THAI PBS

Houses and IDP camps were destroyed and damaged. Valuable materials were taken. The remaining materials and utensils including Aid supported for the IDPs were destroyed.Unexploded audiences remain in the village which is very dangerous for the people. Hospital was used as army camp, dig out canals and bankers every where in the village. Underneath the houses are bankers.Total of 6 civilians were killed and buried in the village. One of them was mentally disabled, who did not know he should run away. He was severely tutored and killed. Bang Na police station:Four suspects arrested on charge of carrying grenades and cartridges at a road checkpoint last night

Bang Na police station chief Pol Col Thawatkiat Chindakuansanong said that four suspects arrested on charge of carrying grenades and cartridges at a road checkpoint last night were not involved in the bomb attack on Democrat party leader’s house on Soi Sukhumvit 31. But he said that the police are questioning their motives for carrying explosives and ammunition. They were intercepted at a road checkpoint by 191 patrol police.They included a woman

A core member of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee  Mr Thavorn Senniem , former MP for Songkhla, said today that the police have arrested four persons who they said were responsible for the bomb attack at the house of Democrat party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva on Sukhumvit Soi  31 late last night. Among the four suspects is a woman. They are now detained at Bang Na police station for questioning. The former Songkhla MP of the Democrat party said the four suspects have link with  politicians in the caretaker government.

ด้วยเมื่อวันที่ 15 ม.ค. 57 เวลา 03.00 น. ขณะที่เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ ตั้งด่านความมั่นคง บริเวณหน้ากรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา ได้ทำการจับกุมผู้ต้องหา รวม 4 คน คือ
1. นายอนุสรณ์ พินิจคุณ อายุ 45 ปี
2. นาย สุนา ถิ่นแก้ว อายุ 53 ปี
3. นางคำไพร แซงแสวง อายุ 45 ปี
4. นางสาวชนาภา เดนมาตย์
โดยกล่าวหาว่า
1.ทำหรือมีหรือใช้ซึ่งวัตถุระเบิดโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาตจากนายทะเบียน
2. มีอาวุธปืนและเครื่องกระสุนปืนไว้ในครอบครองโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต
3.พาอาวุธปืนติดตัวไปในเมืองหมู่บ้านหรือทางสาธารณะโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาตฯ
พร้อมด้วยของกลาง
1. วัตถุระเบิด จำนวน 4 ลูก
2. อาวุธปืน ขนาด 9 มม. จำนวน 1 กระบอก
3. เครื่องกระสุนปืน ขนาด 9 มม. จำนวน 14 นัด
4. เครื่องกระสุนปืน ขนาด .45 จำนวน 16 นัด
5. แม็กกาซีน จำนวน 2 ซอง
6. รถยนต์กระบะ หมายเลขทะเบียน ตพ-969 กรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 1 คัน

จึงนำตัวผู้ต้องหาพร้อมของกลางนำส่งพนักงานสอบสวน สน.บางนาดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมายต่อไป

#พล.ต.ต.อนุชา รมยะนันทน์ รอง โฆษก ศอ.รส. บอกว่า ภายหลังจากการประชุมเมื่อช่วงเช้าที่ผ่านมา ได้สรุปเหตุการณ์ดาวกระจาย เมื่อวานนี้(วันที่ 14 ม.ค. 2557) ทั้ง 12 แห่ง ได้แก่ กระทรวงพลังงาน //กระทรวงพาณิชย์ //กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม //กระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ // กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ //กระทรวงแรงงาน //กรมศุลกากร //กรมการขนส่งทางบก//กรมโยทาธิการและผังเมือง //สถาบันพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคม //กรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ// และสถานที่ที่ไม่ใบ่ส่วนราชการ คือ ตึกชินวัตร 3 ถนนวิภาวดีรังสิต รวมถึงมีเวทีคู่ขนาดของกลุ่ม กปปส. 19 จังหวัด โดยแบ่งเป็นภาคใต้ 10 จังหวัด ภาคเหนือ 5 จังหวัด และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ 4 จังหวัด ขณะเดียวกันในต่างจังหวัดมีเวทีของประชาชนที่มีความเห็นต่าง 8 จังหวัด ได้แก่ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ 4 จังหวัด ภาคกลาง 2 จังหวัด ภาคใต้ 1 จังหวัด และภาคเหนือ 1 จังหวัด
สำหรับเหตุการณ์การชุมนุมของ 7 เวทีหลัก เป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อย แต่มีความวุ่นวายเล็กน้อยที่เกิดขึ้นหน้าสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ ซึ่งมีกลุ่มผู้ชุมนึมยื่นข้อเสนอต่อทาง สตช. ซึ่งได้ส่งชุดเจรจาต่อรองจนผู้ชุมนุมพอใจ และในเวลาประมาณ 17.00 น. ผู้ชุมนุมได้กลับไปที่เวทีราชประสงค์
