(20.42): We note that the police have yet to present evidence on Pol Sr Sgt Maj Narong Pitisith’s murderer. The bullet trajectory indicates he was shot from high above. But who could have been in place several stories up? There are pictures of men-in-black located on buildings near the protest site. We therefore ask senior police officials to conduct this investigation thoroughly and to not blame anyone without conclusive evidence. Do not take out your anger on innocent civilians. Men-in-black came with the Thaksin regime, so blame the regime, not the people.
Let us also take a moment to remember Pol Sr Sgt Maj Narong Pitisith who passed away yesterday. May his soul rest in everlasting peace.
Suthep Thaugsuban (21.10): We note that we have donations from all of you, including the monies given for the injured. The PDRC members have decided that we will take care of vehicle damages and all those injured, and will also donate 1 million baht each to the families of Wasu Suchantabut and Pol Sr Sgt Maj Narong Pitisith. We will help our fellow citizens even though the government continues to ignore them!
(20.51): We condemn the actions of the individuals dressed in police uniforms who violently smashed the vehicle of medical volunteers. The National Police Bureau needs to find answers on who did this.
(21.15): We will also be filing several lawsuits after the New Year, including against the chiefs of CAPO, the National Police Bureau, and DSI. The Constitutional Court has ruled that our protests are peaceful and within our Constitutional rights,so all the protest leaders DSI has indicted are filing suit in courts in their respective provinces of residence. Tharit, prepare yourself to get sued all across Thailand! We will be using every means within our legal rights against this sham government’s abuse!
(21.05): We will renew our efforts in earnest after the New Year’s holidays. Our friends from provinces, please rejoin us in Bangkok in 2014 prepared to fight for months on end. Bangkokians, be ready to shutdown this metropolis. We will stand firm on every square inch of this city of Angels so the Thaksin regime has no room left on which to even stumble.
