Moderator Anchalee Paireerak on stage (19.57): Department of Investigation (DSI) secretary-general Tharit Pengdit said today that he would seek arrest warrants for all those who made cash donations to Sutheb Thaugsuban during the warm-up rallies and caught on closed-circuit camera footage.
(20:21): So let me stress again – our protest tomorrow is to unseat this sham caretaker government who stubbornly refuse to leave.
(20:42): As for me, I’ll start early in the morning at Wong Wian Yai to lead the Thonburi faction to Lumpini park. After that, I’ll be visiting every satellite stage before returning to Democracy Monument at 6 pm. My rally here will be broadcast to our Satellite stages
We had so many protesters on 2 Dec. that we’re setting up multiple satellite stages all over Bangkok for tomorrow. One of the points is Rachaprasong intersection that the UDD took over in 2010, but unlike certain violent red shirt protesters, our movement is civilized and peaceful.
(20:31): More and more citizens are taking to the streets. Yingluck has fled to the north and northeast in the hopes that we would tire of protesting. She’s enlisted DSI head Tharit, but what has that achieved? Yingluck, you can freeze our accounts, but you can never freeze the inspired donations from the people!
(20:26): The Election Commission initially cautioned against going forth with the Feb. 2014 elections. But once they met with Yingluck they started singing a different tune. Thus, it’s up to us, the people, to march to them and make them listen!
(20:31): Civil servants and officers, listen to us! The government is no longer legitimate. Can’t you see reform is needed before the next election?
(20:37): Bangkokians, please use public transport tomorrow, especially the MRT and BTS. We’re shutting down the city for half of the day.
(20:39): We will have main satellite stages at Victory Monument, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Hor Silp Krungthep), Lumpini park/start of Silom Road, Rachaprasong intersection, and Asoke junction.
(20:15): In no other country would a law whitewashing graft and corruption be passed – no country except Thailand, where the puppet PM is the sister of the fugitive criminal.
(20:18): Yingluck, millions of Thais have taken to the street to chase you from office. You and your government – apart from losing legal legitimacy – have also lost political legitimacy.
(20:22): In addition to unseating the government, we’re taking to the streets tomorrow to show our dedication to undertaking reforms before the next election. Electoral laws and political party reforms, these must all be done, as well as strengthening corruption laws, decentralizing authority to allow provincial gubernatorial elections, increase the accountability of the police, and to address social welfare issues. Once this is done, in the 8, 10, or 14 months it may take, elections will be held.
(20:05): Our donation tally from our warm-up rally amounts to over 7 million baht. Today we received additional donations of over 1 million baht. Thank you again, DSI.
(20:46): Anchalee Paireerak is leading the procession to Yingluck’s residence tomorrow morning at 9 am. Whistles should be gently blown to avoid scaring Yingluck.
(20:44): Tomorrow will be another day for the history books. You are all welcome to speak on any of the stages we’ve set up for tomorrow. The power belongs to all of you, the people, so please share your views on reform and where Thailand should be headed.
(20:47): Once we complete tomorrow’s mission, we still have Monday’s task waiting. I vow again that I will always stand by your side to fight this good battle. Thank you and good night!
Kor Por Tor (People and Student Network for the Reform of Thailand) needs help and is seeking the following donations for our several thousand friends coming to Bangkok/Sanam Ma Nang Loeng this weekend:
1. Blue canvas sheets for sleeping
2. Blankets and pillows
3. Mosquito nets
4. Food
5. Drinks, fruit, and snacks
6. Mosquito repellent.Thank you for liking and sharing!
People from Koh Lanta Island (near Krabi town and Phi Phi islands) are heading to Bangkok just now. They left this morning at 9 am in a rented minivan and are now in Chumpon ! They say there is an amazing spirit on the roads and people from all over Thailand are going to BKK (Satun for example). There is free food and free water all along the roads and the spirit is high and the traffic jams have already started !
More and more protesters in Bangkok join the main line when it passes by their respective vantage points, while several supporters choose to greet the main line while standing in place. Sunday’s great rally will include new elements like those saluting the flag in front of their residences. We look forward to seeing you – main liners, sideliners, those waiting at our satellite stages or in front of your homes and provincial city centers, etc. – tomorrow.
Bangkok protest is growing at this moment. As it moves through Bangkok toward Democracy Monument, it grows. Many thousands, but I am noticing something I never saw in the news, and you must be here to witness in person. There may actually be hundreds of thousands. What is happening is that a core group of many thousands are marching through, and then large numbers join for a short distance but stay in their areas of town. Any estimate likely will only include the core. They should be tired now but appear only to be warming up. Their feet must hurt. Nobody drinking alcohol. Feels very safe. Not many police and police relations good. No army. No helicopters. No dramas. Whistles very loud.
Rajdamnoen moderator Anchalee Paireerak (17.15): Here’s the breakdown of tomorrow’s procession to Yingluck’s residence. At the forefront will be a 50-motorcycle fleet, followed by tractors to remove possible barriers, ambulances and medical volunteers, then the first rally truck with loud speakers transporting rally leaders Anchalee Paireerak and Dr. Seri Wongmonta. After that will be the transgender protesters in full costume followed by female protesters in 60 large buses. The last loudspeaker truck with Taya Teepsuwan will round up the line along with trucks containing teargas protection gear. For those interested in joining us, please arrive Rajdamnoen before 9 am.
Here’s a clearer illustration of the 5 satellite and 10 sub-satellite stages for the Sunday, 22 Dec. 2013 grand rally.

For our friends traveling into Bangkok – if the national police stop you at any point, like they have during our previous rallies, get out of your cars and set up your own protest stage!
For those women wanting to visit Yingluck’s house we depart Rajdamnoen by bus at 9 am. This grouping will be led by Dr. Seri’s transgender unit.

On 22 Dec. 2013, Rajdamnoen stage will still operate as a rally center as usual. In addition, the following points will have stages (see the attached pic; the 5 large yellow dots mark the 5 stages):
– Point (1) Victory Monument (protest leader Issara Somchai is the coordinator)
– Point (2) Bangkok Art and Culture Center (Hor Silp Krungthep/green and pink intersection) (Chulalongkorn University as coordinator)
– Point (3) Rachprasong intersection (blue and green intersection) (Rachprasong business community as coordinator)
– Point (4) Lumpini Park on the Silom side (blue and purple intersection; below point (3)) (Silom business community as coordinator); and
– Point (5) Asoke (far right on the green route) (Asoke business community and several protest leaders are acting as coordinator).
Activities on these 5 stages will all commence around 13.30 hours on Sunday. Rajdamnoen’s activities will also be broadcast to screens at these destinations. We note that BTS travels between all these points in case you want to visit more than one.
We note that our friends from outside of Bangkok will be marching to visit you. Here’s the plan: – The first line is from Isaan (the Northeastern provinces) and will be joined by protesters from Rangsit/Donmuang/ Lardprao/Bangkhen/Saimai/Jatuchuk, and march along to Victory monument. – The second line is from the western provinces like Karnchanaburi, and will be marching along Petchkasem road, crossing Pinklao bridge, to Democracy Monument. – The third line is the Eastern provinces (Chonburi, Traad, Rayong, etc.) and will start at Bangna and march to Asoke.
We note that the farmers’ association has also joined our fight against Yingluck, and will be forming a special rally line formed of farming trucks to head into Bangkok.
For our friends traveling into Bangkok – if the national police stop you at any point, like they have during our previous rallies, get out of your cars and set up your own protest stage!
Local PDRC units: Bangkok activities will go from 13:00 – 18:00 hours on Sunday. The crucial point is 18:00 hours when we salute our flag together, across the country. After that PDRC Suthep will lead the rally to chase Yingluck from office!
Provincial PDRCs are extremely important. Please e-mail each unit’s photos to our central e-mail so we can show you on our screens this Sunday.
Again, we ask government officials and military personnel to stand outside your houses and salute the flag at 18:00 this Sunday along with us.
For our unit in the USA, protesters will line up Sunday morning in front of the Thai Embassy.
As you know, our numbers in each and every protest have been egregiously misrepresented in domestic and foreign media. This time we will have ground photos and aerial photos from every point taken by our volunteers as proof. These captures will be broadcast during the rally so we can tally our numbers without dispute.
For those women, and Dr. Seri’s transvestite/drag-queen unit, we depart Rajdamnoen at 9 am for Yingluck’s house. Come in your finest apparel and be ready to negotiate with police on your way there!
