Hundreds of copies of the arrest warrant were air-dropped by a police helicopter into the protest sites on Tuesday.
The Ratchadapisek Criminal Court summoned Pol Col Pong Singmurin, superintendent of Thung Song Hong police, for an enquiry about the unlawful distribution of the arrest warrant which was deemed as a contempt of the court.
The court said that the warrant was only meant for the specific individual facing charges and was not meant for unauthorized persons.
The court then imposed a ban on the distribution of arrest warrants to unauthorized persons and notified the National Police Office to observe the ban.

Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban appeared on a second arrest warrant, issued by the Criminal Court yesterday, on insurrection charges.
According to the charges, Mr Suthep’s behaviour has created unrest, incited people to breach the law, organised gatherings of more than 10 people, and ordered attacks and intimidation against other people.
The statute of limitations is 20 years and the wrongdoer could face the death penalty or life imprisonment under Section 113 of the Criminal Code.
The Criminal Court later issued separate arrest warrants for four leaders of the Students and People Network for Thailand’s Reform for gatherings of more than 10 people, damaging and occupying other people’s property, attacking others with weapons, and seizing the Foreign Ministry.
They are Nithithorn Lamleua, Uthai Yodmanee, Ratchatachayut or Amorn Siyothinsak and Pichit Chaimongkol. (MCOT online news)

ศาลอาญาเรียก พ.ต.อ.พงษ์ สังข์มุรินทรท์ ผกก.สน.ทุ่งสองห้อง ในฐานะพนักงานสอบสวน มาไต่สวน กรณีที่เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจนำหมายจับนายสุเทพ เทือกสุบรรณ เลขาธิการ กปปส. ข้อหากบฏ มั่วสุมกันตั้งแต่ 10 คนขึ้นไปก่อความวุ่นวายในบ้านเมือง และเป็นหัวหน้าหรือผู้มีหน้าที่สั่งการและเจ้าพนักงานสั่งให้เลิกแต่ไม่เลิก ตามประมวลกฎหมายอาญามาตรา 113,215 ประกอบมาตรา 216 ไปเผยแพร่ตามสื่อต่าง ๆ และนำไปโปรยทางเฮลิคอปเตอร์เมื่อวันที่ 3 ธ.ค.ให้แก่ผู้ชุมนุมในสถานที่ต่าง ๆ
โดยศาลไต่สวนและมีคำสั่งว่า การดำเนินการตามหมายจับของศาล เจ้าพนักงานที่เกี่ยวข้องต้องกระทำเพียงเพื่อจับกุมบุคคลตามหมายจับโดยเคร่งครัด การนำหมายจับไปเปิดเผยต่อผู้ที่มิได้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง หรือมิใช่เพื่อจับกุมบุคคลตามหมายจับโดยตรง ย่อมปราศจากอำนาจที่กระทำได้ ศาลอาญา จึงออกข้อกำหนด ห้ามมิให้เจ้าพนักงานกระทำการใด ๆ อันเป็นการเผยแพร่หมายจับต่อบุคคลผู้ไม่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องในการจับกุมบุคคลตามหมายจับโดยตรง มิฉะนั้นถือว่า เป็นการละเมิดอำนาจศาล และแจ้งคำสั่งศาลให้ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ (ผบ.ตร.) ทราบต่อไป
