မေလးရွားေရာက္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသားမ်ားအတြက္ ယေန႕ျမန္မာသံရံုးမွေၾကာ္ျငာခ်က္တစ္ေစာင္ထုတ္ေဝခဲ့သည္ ။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕မေလးရွားေရာက္ ျမန္မာမ်ား Facebook စာမ်က္ႏွာမွ တင္ဆက္ခဲ့သည့္အတိုင္း ယခု ပါမစ္ျပဳလုပ္ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးမည့္ 6P ေနာက္ဆက္တြဲ Amnesty စီမံခ်က္သည္ ယခင္ 6P တြင္ ပါမစ္မရရွိေသးေသာ သူမ်ားအတြက္ သာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ထည့္သြင္းေၾကာ္ျငာထားသည္။ ေၾကာ္ျငာခ်က္အျပည့္အစံုမွာ ေအာက္ပါအတိုင္းျဖစ္သည္ ။

မေလးရွားႏိုင္ငံတြင္ ျပည္ပႏိုင္ငံမ်ားမွ လာေရာက္လုပ္ကိုင္လွ်က္ရွိၾကသည့္ တရားမဝင္ေရြ႕ေျပာင္းအလုပ္သမားမ်ား ႏွင့္ပတ္သက္၍ မေလးရွားစီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ား၏ ေတာင္းဆိုမႈမ်ားေၾကာင့္ မေလးရွားျပည္ထဲေရး ဝန္ၾကီးဌာနမွ ယခင္ 2011 ၾသဂုတ္လမွ 2012 ခုႏွစ္ ဧပရယ္လအထိ ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးခဲ့သည့္ 6P အစီအစဥ္တြင္ မွတ္ပံုတင္ထားေသာ သူမ်ားမွ ပါမစ္မရရွိခဲ့သူမ်ားအတြက္ အလုပ္ပါမစ္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားခြင့္ျပဳမည့္ အစီအစဥ္ကို 2013 ခုႏွစ္ ေအာက္တိုဘာလ 21 ရက္ေန႕မွ 2014 ဇန္နဝါရီလ 20 ရက္ေန႕အထိ 3 လတိတိေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးမည္ျဖစ္သည္ ။

အဆိုပါအစီအစဥ္အရ ယခုမွ လာေရာက္ေလွ်ာက္ထားသူ (New Applicant) မ်ားအားလက္ခံေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးျခင္းမဟုတ္ပဲ ယခင္ 6P ကာလအတြင္း မွတ္ပံုတင္ (Register) လုပ္ထားသူမ်ားကိုသာ လက္ခံေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္ ။ႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ မ်ားလက္ဝယ္ရွိထားသူမ်ားအေနျဖင့္ သံရံုးသုိ႕ လာေရာက္ၿပီး ေဆာင္ရြက္စရာမလိုပဲ ေအာက္ေဖာ္ျပပါ စာရြက္စာတမ္းမ်ားျဖင့္ ပူထရာဂ်ာရာၿမိဳ႕ရွိ မေလးရွား ျပည္ထဲေရးဝန္ႀကီးဌာန ၊ Block D9 , 4th Floor သို႕အလုပ္ရွင္/သူေဌးတို႕ႏွင့္အတူ သြားေရာက္ေလွ်ာက္ထားႏိုင္ပါသည္ ။

ျမန္မာသံရံုး၌ ေငြသြင္း၍ ယာယီစာရြက္စာတမ္းမ်ား ကိုင္ေဆာင္ထားျပီး ႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ မထုတ္ရေသးသူမ်ား အေနျဖင့္ ယာယီစာရြက္စာတမ္းမူရင္အားတင္ျပ၍ သရံုး၌ ႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ လာေရာက္ထုတ္ယူၿပီး အထက္ေဖာ္ျပပါ စာရြက္စာတမ္းမ်ားျဖင့္ မေလးရွား လူဝင္မႈၾကီးၾကပ္ေရးဌာနသို႕ အလုပ္ရွင္/သူေဌး ႏွင့္အတူ သြားေရာက္ေလွ်ာက္ထားႏိုင္သည္ ။

သတိျပဳရမည္မွာ ျမန္မာ ႏွင့္ မေလးရွားအစိုးရတို႕အၾကား တရားမဝင္ အလုပ္သမားမ်ားအား တရားဝင္ျဖစ္ေစရန္ ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးမည့္ အထူးအစီအစဥ္မွာ သီးသန္႕ျဖစ္ျပီး လက္ရွိအေျခအေနအရ ညွိႏႈိင္းေနဆဲျဖစ္ပါသည္ ။ ယင္းအစီအစဥ္ျပဳလုပ္မည့္ ကိစၥ ႏွင့္ပတ္သက္၍ ထပ္မံေၾကာ္ျငာသြားမည္ျဖစ္သည္။

ယခင္ 2011 – 2012 ခုႏွစ္မ်ားအတြင္း ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးသည့္ 6P အစီအစဥ္တြင္ ပြဲစား/ ေအးဂ်င့္ / ေအးဂ်င့္ကုမၼဏီအခ်ဳိ႕၏ လိမ္လည္မႈ ၊ အျမတ္ထုတ္မႈ ၊ ေခါင္းပံုျဖတ္မႈမ်ား ရွိခဲ့ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ယခုအႀကိမ္၌ အလုပ္ပါမစ္ မရရွိေသးေသာ သက္တမ္းရွိႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ကိုင္ေဆာင္ထားသည့္ ျမန္မာအလုပ္သမားမ်ားသည္ ၎တို႕ကိုယ္စား အလုပ္ရွင္က ပူထရာဂ်ာရာရွိ မေလးရွား ျပည္ထဲေရးဝန္ၾကီးဌာန One – Stop – Center တြင္ သြားေရာက္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားရမည္ကို သတိျပဳႏိုင္ရန္ အသိေပးေၾကညာအပ္ပါသည္။

2011 ခုႏွစ္တြင္ 6P အစီအစဥ္ျဖင့္ ထုတ္ေပးထားသည့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ ကိုင္ေဆာင္ထားသည့္ ျမန္မာအလုပ္သမားမ်ားသည္ အလုပ္ပါမစ္ ကပ္ရန္အတြက္ မိမိတို႕လက္ဝယ္ ရွိ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ သက္တမ္းကုန္ခါနီး ျဖစ္ေနပါက သံရံုးသုိ႕ ကိုယ္တိုင္ လာေရာက္စံုစမ္း ေလွ်ာက္ထားႏိုင္ပါေၾကာင္း အသိေပးအပ္ပါသည္ ။

ယခင္ 6P တြင္ မေလးရွား လူဝင္မႈႀကီးၾကပ္ေရးဌာန၌ လက္ေဗြႏွိ္ပ္၍ မွတ္ပံုတင္ထားျပီး 6P Slip ရရွိထားသူမ်ားသည္ ျမန္မာသံရံုး ၊ ကြာလာလမ္ပူၿမိဳ႕တြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံကူးလက္မွတ္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားရယူခဲ့ျခင္းမရွိေသးပါက သံရံုးသို႕ ကိုယ္တိုင္လာေရာက္ ေလွ်ာက္ထား ႏိုင္ပါေၾကာင္း အသိေပးအပ္ပါသည္ ။

Thailand : Towing of illegally parked vehicles commences in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 21 October 2013 (NNT) – Thai National Police chief Police General Adul Saengsingkaew has officially announced the implementation of the towing of illegally parked vehicles in 10 area of Bangkok. The 10 areas are as follows: 1. Laoprao Road: from the Ladprao intersection to the Happy Land intersection; 2. Rama 4 Road: from the Hualomphong intersection to the Rama 4 intersection; 3. Sukumvit, Ploenchit and Rama 1 road: from the Bangna intersection to the Phongpraram intersection; 4. Petchburi and New Petchburi Road: from the Urupong intersection to the Klongton intersection, and 10. On the entire Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.  Fines for illegally parked vehicles are as follows: 1. Each vehicle shall be fined 500 baht. 2. All 4-wheel vehicles will be required to pay 500 baht each for towing fee and 200 baht each day for maintenance fee; 3. All 6-wheel vehicles will each have to pay a 700-baht towing fee and a 300-baht/day maintenance fee, and 4. Vehicles with 10 wheels and up: 1,000 baht towing fee and 500 baht/day maintenance fee. Drivers can contact local police stations to retrieve their towed-away vehicles and pay the incurred fines.

Thailand hosts the third International Conference on Dengue

BANGKOK, 21 October 2013 (NNT) – Thailand is hosting the third International Conference on Dengue and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever to find changing factors influencing the Dengue spread and how to deal with new strains. The conference, being hosted by the Department of Disease Control (DDC), Ministry of Public Health, was opened today and will be held until 23 October at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok. With the theme ‘Global Dengue: Challenges and Promises’, the conference brings together specialists from around the world, in a bid to enhance their collaboration and exchange of experiences in order to find ways to address Dengue-related problems such as the development of anti-dengue vaccines. Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Mr. Vichai Tienthavorn, said Dengue occurrences in the world have been altered by the change in climate which also influences some infectious diseases to re-emerge in developed countries, such as the significant increase of Aedes mosquitos in the United States. He said the conference is necessary to help the participants from around the world understand the pathology of Dengue fever for a more efficient control of the disease. In Thailand, according to the Deputy Public Health Minister, there have been more than 135,000 Dengue cases as of 15 October this year. 126 of them died during the period.

Burma Constitutional Debate: Burmese way to federalism or non-Burman aspired federal union?

In July, a 109-member Constitution Review Joint Committee was set up with the Deputy Speaker of the Union Parliament as its chairman, to review the Constitution and consider changes that might give states and divisions more power.

But, the ruling USDP party has 52 members and the Burmese military 25 members in the 109-member committee. In comparison, the opposition NLD has only 7 members and some 25 members from other small ethnic parties. And as such, it is questionable, whether the 77 stakes from pro-military camp would do anything to amend the constitution that would be against its own interest of holding on to power.

Not to be outdone by the NLD ongoing campaign, the committee has invited suggestions from the public, with a deadline for submission of advice until 15 November 2013.

MYANMAR: Bomb scare continues in Mandalay

credit emg –  Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar, still encountered bomb alerts in public places after an unexploded bomb was found in a restaurant in the city recently.

A separate incident that also prompted a bomb scare at the Kwelsekan Highway Bus Compound on October 19 involved an unlicensed vehicle that was parked in the vincinity with the owner no where to be found. Authorities checked the vehicle and found no explosive material.

On October 14, an unexploded bomb was found at Golden Duck Restaurant in the city.

Also in the evening of October 18, a suspicious package was found near National Theatre in the city. The authorities opened it to find it’s only a handset wrapped up with batteries. On the same day, the authorities went to confirm it’s just a firework when they’re reported smoke were coming out of a garbage dump on 23th Street in the evening.

When the officials went to check the ownerless unlicensed vehicle at the compound, they just found a 12-volt battery, an umbrella, a bottle of purified water and a bottle of alcohol branded Red Label on it.

“Currently as the people are deeply concerned due to bomb rumors, they reported about anything found suspicious to the authorities. The police also make quick actions upon the public reports. It’s good for the public security,” said an official from Mandalay Region Police Force.

Though the police announced they have arrested suspects for the recent bombings in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Taungoo and Phyu, suspicious packages suspected as bombs are still being found in Yangon, Mandalay and Hpaan currently.

Computers, journals “sunlight” confiscated as staff watch helplessly

In  what  came  across  as  an  arm  twisting  incident  by  a  group  of  influential  people, including  relatives  of  Myanmar  government  ministers,  a  group  of  men  muscled  their way into the newsroom of The Sunlight in Yagon late Friday night and confiscated 14 computers and remaining journals,  the publication’s chief editor said.

Moe Hein, chief editor of The Sunlight news journal, told the press yesterday that the journal’s publisher Yu Naing, retired Senior General Than Shwe’s grandson Phoe La Pyae, and Minister of Commerce’s son Thurein were among the group that confiscated the computers and journals.

He  said  they  were  accompanied  by  the  news  outlet’s  publisher,    Yu  Naing,  who appeared  helpless  and  remained  outside  the  building  as  the  group  of  men  prowl through the newsroom and frightened the staff along the way.

“A group of 15 or 20 people came to the office with six cars around midnight. Minister of Commerce U Win Myint’s son Ko Thurein, Phoe La Pyae, and his friends were in the group.  They  told  the  kids  [the  staffs]  who  they  were  and  demanded  the  remaining  journals.  The  kids  had  to  give  them  as  they  were  scared.  They also  demanded  [the security guard] to open the door, but he refused to opened it. They then got inside from a  door  from  the  other  side.  One  of  the  kids  opened  the  door  when  he  saw  his acquaintance and the whole group went inside. They covered the CCTV after turning off  the  lights  and  took  away  the  systems  units  from  the  computers.  They  took  14 [system units] out of 22 computers,” said Moe Hein.
