ကြတ္ခိုင္ျမိဳ႔နယ္ နမ္းဖက္ကာ အုပ္စုရွိ ဖာဖိုင့္ႏွင့္ ပါေခ်ာင္ ေက်းရြာ နမ့္ဟြန္းေခ်ာင္း အနီးသို႔ ထိုးစစ္ဆင္ လာေသာ အစိုး ရ ခလရ (၄၅) တပ္ဖြဲ႔ႏွင့္ ပန္ေဆး ျပည္သူ႔စစ္ ပူးေပါင္း တပ္ဖြဲ႔ကို တအာင္း အမ်ုိဳးသား လြတ္ေျမာက္ေရး TNLA တပ္ရင္း (၁၁၂) မွ ေစာင့္ပစ္ရာ ယေန႔ ေန႕လည္ ၂ နာရီခန္႕မွ ၃ နာရီခြဲ အထိ ျပင္းထန္စြာ အနီးကပ္ တိုက္ပြဲ ျဖစ္ပြား ခဲ့သည္ဟု TNLA အေထြေထြ အတြင္းေရးမွဴး ဒုတိယ ဗိုလ္မွဴးႀကီး တာဘုန္းေက်ာ္က ဆိုပါသည္။

“ ဒီလိုပါ၊ ဒီတပ္က မေန႔ ကတည္းက က်ေနာ္တို႔ တပ္ဖြဲ႔ ေနာက္ကို လိုက္ေနတာ။ ဒီေတာ့ သူတို႔ ေခ်ာင္းကူးလာတယ္ ။ ေခ်ာင္းတဘက္ ကမ္းမွာလည္း က်ေနာ္တို႔ မိုင္းေထာင္ ထားတယ္။ ေရွ႔ဆံုးပြိဳင့္က မိုင္းထိတာနဲ႔ က်န္တဲ့ တပ္ဖြဲ႔ တခ်ဳိ႔က ေခ်ာင္းထဲမွာေလ ၊ ဒီေတာ့ အျပင္းအထန္ကို က်ေနာ္တို႔ တိုက္လိုက္ ပါတယ္” ဟုဆိုပါသည္။

က်ေနာ္တို႔ ကလည္း နမ့္ဟြန္း ေခ်ာင္းတဖက္ ကမ္းကို ကူးျပီး ေစာင့္ပစ္တယ္။ ဗံုးလည္း ထပ္ေထာင္ ထားတယ္။ အဲဒီေတာ့ သူတို႔က ေခ်ာင္းလည္း ကူးေရာ စပစ္တာေပါ့။ ဒီေတာ့ ေခ်ာင္းထဲမွာ အတုန္းအရံုး ထိတာပါဘဲ။ ျပီးေတာ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ကမ္းစပ္ ဖက္မွာလည္း မိုင္းေထာင္ ထားေတာ့ ကမ္းအတက္မွာပါ မိုင္းေတြ ထပ္ထိသြားတယ္” ဟု ဆိုပါသည္။

ဤတိုက္ပြဲတြင္ အစိုးရဖက္မွ အနည္းဆံုး (၁၀) ဦး ထက္မနဲ က်ျပီး (၂၀)ေက်ာ္ ျပင္းထန္စြာ ဒါဏ္ရာ ရခဲ့သည္ဟု TNLA က ဆိုပါသည္။ အင္အား (၁၀၀) ခန္႔ရွိသည့္ အစိုးရ တပ္မ်ားသည္ မူးယစ္ေဆး၀ါး တိုက္ဖ်က္ရန္ လွဳပ္ရွားေနေသာ TNLA တပ္ရင္း (၁၁၂) ေနာက္ကို စစ္ဆင္ ေနသည့္ အတြက္ တိုက္ခိုက္ လိုက္ျခင္း ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း တပ္ရင္း (၁၁၂)မွဴး ဗိုလ္ၾကီး တာခြန္ဆာက ဆိုပါသည္။

TNLA တပ္ရင္း ၁၁၂ သည္ မူးယစ္ေဆး၀ါး တိုက္ဖ်က္ေရး အစီအစဥ္အရ မူးယစ္ေဆး၀ါး ေရာင္းဝယ္ ေနသည့္ ေလာ့ခူန္ ျပည္သူ႕စစ္တပ္ဖဲြ႕ကို ျပီးခဲ့သည့္ စက္တင္ဘာလ ၈ ရက္ေန႔တြင္ ဝင္ေရာက္ စီးနင္း ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ျပည္သူ႕စစ္ ဆက္မလုပ္ရန္လည္း ျပင္းထန္စြာသတိေပးၿပီး လက္နက္မ်ား ျဖဳတ္သိမ္း ခဲ့ပါသည္။

ထိုကဲ့သို႕ လက္နက္ ျဖဳတ္သိမ္း ခဲ့သည္ကို မေက်နပ္ သျဖင့္ ခလရ ၄၅ ႏွင့္ ပန္ေဆး ျပည္သူ႕စစ္ ပူးေပါင္း စစ္ေၾကာင္းက အျပင္းအထန္ ထိုးစစ္ဆင္ ခဲ့ျခင္း ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ သို႔ေသာ္ တိုက္ပဲြေၾကာင့္ ထိခိုက္ ဒါဏ္ရာ ရရွိသူမ်ား သျဖင့္ လူနာမ်ား သယ္ေဆာင္ရန္ ထိုေနရာတြင္ ေနရာ ယူထား ရဆဲ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

ဤအေျခ အေနေၾကာင့္ ေနာက္ထပ္ တိုက္ပြဲမ်ား ျဖစ္ပြား လာစရာ ရွိေနသျဖင့္ TNLA ႏွင့္ အစိုးရတို႔၏ အပစ္အခတ္ ရပ္စဲေရး ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ အလားအလာမွာ မေသခ်ာ ေသးေၾကာင္း အေထြအေထြ အတြင္းေရးမွဴး တာဘုန္းေက်ာ္က ဆိုပါသည္။

TNLA သည္ အပစ္အခတ္ ရပ္စဲရန္ ျပီးခဲ့သည့္ ဇူလိုင္လ အကုန္ပိုင္းတြင္ ရွမ္းျပည္ ေျမာက္ပိုင္း မူဆယ္ ၿမိဳ႔၌ ေတြ႔ဆံု ေဆြးေႏြး ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ၾသဂုတ္ လဆန္းတြင္ ထပ္မံ ေတြ႔ဆံုရန္ မူလက စီစဥ္ ထားေသာ္လည္း အစိုးရမွ ယံုၾကည္မွဳ မတည္ေဆာက္ ႏိုင္သျဖင့္ ယေန႔ ေတြ႔ဆံုရန္ မျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေသးေၾကာင္း TNLA က ဆိုပါသည္။

Battles spread to KIA’s 3rd Brigade area

A battle took place between KIA’s 12th Battalion troops and about 50 soldiers from Burmese army’s 507th Light Infantry Battalion (Hka Ma Ya 507) at Lung Byeng, located near Nam Hpang Hka, in southern Kachin State on Sept 10 at 11:30 am. The battle lasted for over six hours and one Burmese army officer was reportedly killed during the fighting. KIA sources say the battle took place as Burmese army invaded KIA’s 12th Battalion territory and launched an attack on KIA frontline post.

A combined force of Burmese army’s 114th and 115th Light Infantry Regiments (Hka La Ya 114 & 115) fired several rounds of artillery shells on KIA’s 34th Battalion position at Loi Hkam Bum in northern Shan State on Sep 9.

Buddhist monk U Wirathu and Diamond Shwe Kyi, the Muslim representative of the Peace and Friendship Network, meet at the Kaythya Yama Monastery in 13rd Quarter, East Dagon in Yangon on September 10, 2013.

Buddhist monk U Wirathu and Muslim representative of the Peace and Friendship Network, Diamond Shwe Kyi met on September 10 to discuss interfaith friendship, unity and peace between followers of Buddhism and Islam. The meeting held in Kaythya Yama Monastery in 13rd Quarter, East Dagon, was their third interfaith meeting. U Wirathu belongs to one of the monasteries in the New Masoeyein Monastery compound in Mandalay and Diamond Shwe Kyi owns a diamond shop in Yangon.

U Wirathu told Mizzima before the meeting, “In the first meeting, we discussed building friendship; in the second we talked about difficulties we faced and agreed to continue to cooperate with one another and promote peace. In our third meeting, we will discuss broader topics. Our discussion will focus on prevention of communal violence.”

Diamond Shwe Kyi said in the meeting that, they would give their suggestions to prevent communal violence in Myanmar. They would also inquire Wirathu about ‘969’-related sermons that he preached.

 “We will also highlight the history of Myanmar Muslims. Our main ambition is to establish peace. We will not use violence. We will not fight or argue,” said Diamond Shwe Kyi. He also said that they have received threats against their meeting.

“Muslims made threats to me. They want to know why I am meeting U Wirathu. Islamic extremists have threatened our network,” said Diamond Shwe Kyi. 

U Wirathu and Diamond Shwe Kyi had their first and second meeting on June 5 and June 21 respectively.

First UN aid convoy in 20 months reaches displaced in Kachin state_ကုလအကူညီေပးေရးအဖြဲ႔မ်ား ကူညီေထာက္ပ့ံေရးပစၥည္း ကား ၁၁ ျဖင့္ လိုင္ဇာသုိ႔ ေရာက္ရွိေန

10 September 2013 – The first aid convoy in nearly two years has delivered food, medicine and other supplies to thousands of displaced people in Myanmar’s Kachin state, the United Nations relief arm today reported.

More than 4,000 people have received food, medicine and other aid from UN agencies and partner organizations in the Woi Chyai camp in the town of Laiza.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that this is the first aid convoy since December 2011.

“The UN and our partners in Myanmar are telling us that it is essential that this convoy should be the first of many to the area to help the people there,” spokesperson Jens Laerke said in Geneva, adding that there are 53,000 people in need in areas such as this which are not controlled by the Government.

OCHA says the relief items will supplement assistance delivered on a regular basis by local groups and other partners.

In January, the Government announced a unilateral ceasefire following a three-week offensive against ethnic Kachin rebels. A month later, the parties held talks in China, where they agreed to work on an overall framework to de-escalate the conflict.

ABSDF to open liaison office in Karen state

The All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF) Secretary Sonny, told Mizzima on September 9 that they were having discussions with the Karen state government to open a liaison office in Myawaddy town in Karen state.

“We came here to discuss with the Karen state government for opening a liaison office in Myawaddy as the first step. We met political groups, 88-Generation students and some political parties. Things are going on well,” he added.

Opening an ABSDF liaison office in Myawaddy was one of the points agreed upon between the state government and ABSDF on August 5. The agreement proposes further discussions at union level and opening up more liaison offices.

ကခ်င္ျပည္ လြတ္လပ္ေရး အဖဲြ႕ကမူ ၄င္းတို႕၏ မူအတိုင္း အပစ္အခတ္ ရပ္စဲေရး လက္မွတ္ ေရးထိုးေရးထက္၊ ႏိုင္ငံေရး ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ က်င္းပႏုိင္ေရး ကိုသာ လက္ခံၾကပါသည္။  အပစ္အခတ္ရပ္စဲေရး ဟူသည္မွာ ႏိုင္ငံေရး ေျဖရွင္းမွဳ၏ လက္ေအာက္ခံ ျပသနာပင္ ျဖစ္သည္ဟု ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ဂြမ္ေမာ္က သေဘာထား ခဲ့ေၾကာင္း ဆိုပါသည္။

ထိုကဲ့သို႕ေသာ ႏိုင္ငံေရး ေတြ႕ဆုံေဆြးေႏြး ပြဲမ်ား က်င္းပေပးမွ သာလွ်င္ ႏိုင္ငံေရး အရ သေဘာ တူညီခ်က္မ်ား ရရွိ လာပါက အာမခံခ်က္ ႐ွိျပီး အစိုးရ  ဘက္မွ ေမွ်ာ္မွန္း ထားသည့္ စစ္မွန္သည့္ျပည္တြင္း ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးမ်ား  ျဖစ္ေပၚလာႏိုင္မည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း  KIO/KIA ဘက္က အဆိုျပဳသြားခဲ့ပါသည္။

ဤေျပာဆိုခ်က္မ်ား အတြက္ ယင္းေဆြးေႏြးပြဲသို႔ တက္ေရာက္ ခဲ့ေသာ ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေဇာ္ေသာင္းႏွင့္ဆရာလနန္းတို႔အား ဆက္သြယ္ ေမးျမန္း ခဲ့ေသာ္လည္း မရရွိခဲ့ေပ။
