1. We had presented two times to you why and how did this crisis was erupted on
our land. We presumed you will thoroughly understand the situation and concept of ethnic Rakhine people ( Arakanese ) upon this crisis.

2. But you are repeatedly demanding to pay citizenship to all immigrated Bengalis neglecting the Human Rights Declaration article 13(2) and never care our Rakhines’ interest . And you have demand to release one of the key terrorists , Dr Tun Aung with you one sided view .

3. When you declare to come our land , those aggressive intruders, Bengalis , always make some problem .This time they made hostile act even to the authorities concerned . If we lived with them interlacely we would be beheaded and our houses would be burnt down . So we presumed your trip were , if although you have no intents , inciting those intruders , Bengalis . And when everytimes you used the word “ Rohingya “ , which we cannot absolutely accepted ,this calling is amounts to instigation to Bengalis and provokes our Arakaneses’ fury . we want to pay you an example : If a group of English or German Or France Have come to Argentina and settled there , they might probably become citizens of Argentina , but they would never become Argentines or any other new race , because they are still English or German Or France .

4.We have felt that your acts and declaration were always beyond your mandate as a Human Rights envoy , insulting our natives and infringing sovereignty of our country .
5.Abovesaid facts , we , Town Elders of Sittwe , do not need to make more fruitless and useless meeting with you . And we don’t want to answer your bias interrogatories like accused persons, even we are living in our own ancestral land .

The fate of about 2000 BENGALI.Rohingya men, women and children being held in Thailand has yet to be decided. Depression and despondency have driven hundreds to escape and in many cases to attempt to proceed to Malaysia with the help of traffickers. Thailand is usually a transit nation for “persecuted” BENGALI Rohingya who flee? their “homeland”, Burma, in an attempt to find sanctuary in Muslim-majority Malaysia. By apprehending and holding the BENGALI-Rohingya, Thailand has left itself yet to resolve the difficult decision of what to do when more boatloads of BENGALI-Rohingya sail south from October. Allegations of trafficking by Thai residents, by renegade military and by local police along the Andaman Sea coast have surfaced, compounding Thailand’s dilemma. Last ”sailing season,” according to the best estimates, about 35,000 boatpeople fled ?? “ethnic cleansing”  in Burma, often without a destination in mind. ၂ဝ၁၂-ခုႏွစ္မွာလည္း မစၥတာကင္တားနား ခရီးစဥ္ႏွင့္ ႀကံဳရသည္။ သည္တစ္ခါတြင္မူ အုိးဘုိေထာင္မွာထက္ သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္ေတြ စုေဆာင္းမိလာ၏။
၂၀၁၂ခရီးစဥ္သည္ က်ႏႈပ္တုိ႔ တုိင္းရင္းသားမ်ားအတြက္ အဆိပ္ခြက္ျဖစ္ခဲ့ေခ်ျပီ။ ဘဂၤါလီေခါင္းေဆာင္ေတြႏွင့္ ၾကဳိတင္ခ်ိန္းခ်က္ကာ လွ်ိဳ႕ဝွက္ေတြ႕ဆုံျပီးမွ ရခုိင္ဒုကၡသည္စခန္းသုိ႔ လုိက္ၾကည့္ေတာ့၏။ သတင္းမွန္ကုိလုိခ်င္သည္ထက္ အလာျပရုံေလးသေဘာလုပ္လာ၏။ ျဖစ္ရပ္မွန္ကုိသိရွိဖုိ႔ထက္ မ်က္ရည္မထြက္ဘဲ ငုိျပသူတုိ႔ကုိ စာနာသည့္ အရိပ္လကၡဏာက အကဲသာေန၏။

၂၀၁၂ ခုမွာမူ မစၥတာကင္တားနားသည္ ကၽြႏု္ပ္တုိ႔အတြက္ ဟီးရုိးမဟုတ္၊ ဇီးရုိးသာ ျဖစ္ခဲ့၏။ ဇီးရုိးသည္လည္း ေနာက္မွေနေသာ ဇီးရုိးမဟုတ္-အျမီးဇီးရုိးမဟုတ္၊ ေရွ႕မွာေနေသာ ဇီးရုိး၊ ဦးေခါင္းဇီးရုိးျဖစ္ခဲ့ေလေတာ့၏။ အေပါင္းလကၡဏာေတာင္ မေဆာင္၊ အႏႈတ္လကၡဏာ ျပခဲ့ေလေတာ့၏။
ထုိအခါ အမ်ဳိးသားေရးဝါဒီ ဝီရသူ-မစၥတာကင္တားနားကုိ မၾကည္ညဳိ၊ မေလးစားေတာ့ျပီ။ ထုိ႔ေၾကာင့္ “သမၼတၾကီးကုိ ေထာက္ခံျခင္းျဖင့္ အမိျမန္မာျပည္ကုိ ကာကြယ္ပါ” စာတန္းကုိင္ေဆာင္ ဆႏၵျပရန္ မစၥတာကင္တားနားပုံကုိ ၾကက္ေျခခတ္လုိက္ရေလေတာ့၏။
၂၀၁၃-မွာ ပုိဆုိးလာသည္။ အာရဗီ စာသင္ေက်ာင္း မီးေလာင္သည့္ကိစၥ-မစၥတာကင္တားနား မစူးစမ္း မဆင္ျခင္ပဲ အေဝးမွ ထေအာ္၏။ အစုိးရကပဲ လုပ္သေယာင္၊ တုိင္းရင္းသားေတြကပဲ လုပ္သေယာင္၊ အငုိသန္ေသာေယာက်ာ္းရင့္မာၾကီးမ်ား၏ မ်က္ရည္ခံထုိးမႈကုိ ခံလုိက္ရေလေတာ့သည္။
ယခုလည္း မစၥတာကင္တားနား လာေခ်ျပန္ျပီ။ မစၥတာကင္တားနားသည္ ကၽြႏုပ္တုိ႔အတြက္ လာျခင္းေကာင္းေသာ ဧည့္သည္ေတာ္မဟုတ္ေတာ့ျပီ။ မူဆလင္ႏွင့္ျမန္မာ ပဋိပကၡေတြမွာ မူဆလင္ကုိ စုံစမ္းစစ္ေဆးေရးလုပ္ခုိင္သည့္ UN ကုိလည္း အံ့ၾသမိ၏။

Rule of Law and Stability Committee,criticizing weaknesses in the judiciary

A recent report by the Rule of Law and Stability Committee, led by opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, was delivered to parliament on Monday criticizing weaknesses in the judiciary and the public sector in implementing law and order.

The committee has investigated courts in various townships, districts and states across Myanmar and met with clients, witnesses, and officials. It also accepted complaints from the public and cooperated with national organisations to gather their findings.

The seven-page report submitted by the committee calls for independence between the state and the judiciary as an important step to establishing effective rule of law. The report also highlighted weaknesses in the law and the ineffectiveness of the police in effectively solving crimes.

While recent government reforms aim to relax restrictions, bad habits formed after half a century of military rule and corruption continue to persist at every level of administration. The report advises the authorities to abolish, amend, or draft new laws where they are outdated and obstruct law and order.

It also urges the authorities to work for peace so the public can live peacefully and securely under the protection of the law. Finally it also calls for parliament to form an independent anti-corruption team to help eliminate bribery and corruption in Myanmar’s public sector.

There were around hundred students who were involved in the Parjau case. Only 30 of them have been found. The remaining 70 are yet to be accounted for. We will ensured justice is delivered after the report from the Commission” said Myo Win.

I’m sorry to say but I learned today from NDD that they will not give permission to access the ABSDF archives (for this particular ABSDF archive which is listed as a NDD collection permission from both NDD and ABSDF is needed)
I’m still waiting for a formal reply from ABSDF, but since you need permission from both, one negative answer is enough to deny you permission to the documents.
