Mawtaung border trade camp commissioned into service

 

Nay Pyi Taw, 9 May—

Mawtaung border trade camp of Taninthayi Region went into operation starting from yesterday morning.

At the opening of the border trade camp in Taninthayi Township, Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that thanks to the trade camp, trade

volume between Myanmar and Thailand would increase. Myeik-Taninthayi-Mawtaung Road would be upgraded for secure and

smooth transport thereby contributing to creating job opportunities in the region,he said.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials concerned observed the commodities

flow at the border trade camp.
