If you’re in NYC, please join us for a Citizen of Burma Award’s (COBA)
fundraising event on Sunday, May 19th from 11:00am-4:00pm at Aviation
High School, 45-30 36th St., Long Island City, NY 11101.

Generous donors will be selling delicious and authentic homemade
Burmese and Ethnic foods along with cheerful live Burmese customary

Each year, Citizen of Burma Award is awarded one auspicious
humanitarian hero or an organization that is selflessly and
effectively working inside Burma. We donate $10,000 to the COBA award
recipient in support of his/her work in providing humanitarian needs
in Burma. This year’s award ceremony will be held on May 26, 2013 in
South Korea.

The event is organized by Citizen of Burma Award (NY Chapter) and
