FBR REPORT: KACHIN FBR GOOD LIFE CLUB COUNSELOR KILLED BY BURMA ARMY

Dear friends, one our Kachin Rangers, 20 year old Zau Hkawng, a Good Life Club counselor, has been killed by the Burma Army while defending his people in Kachin State. He had been missing in action but his body has now been found. We are very sorry to lose him and pray for his family, team and friends. In the sacrifice of his life Zau Hkawng lived out Jesus’ words, “Greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends.”

On 16 August 2012, Zau Hkwang was carrying food and giving assistance to Kachin soldiers who were in a line of defense protecting the Kachin people under attack by the Burma Army in Pang Wa, Kachin State. The Burma Army overwhelmed the Kachin position and the Kachin soldiers were forced to retreat.  Zau Hkawng chose to cover their retreat and remained as the last man in the position until all others had escaped. By his actions the Burma Army was not able to kill more of the Kachin and were slowed in the taking of the position. In doing this he lost his life. He was last seen defending the hill alone. His body was recovered on 10 December 2012 after the Burma Army left the immediate area.

Zau Hkawng said he joined the FBR because he loved his people and wanted to serve them well. In his role as a Good Life Club counselor he focused on the needs of women and children. He was a loving, energetic and humble young man who gave his all to anyone who needed help. We thank God for him and for his life and are sad for his death. In the midst of our sorrow we trust that nothing precious is eternally lost in God’s hands. And we believe we will see him again in the place God has prepared for all of us. We honor Zau Hkwang’s courage. His loss makes us more determined to make good his sacrifice for freedom, justice and reconciliation for all in Burma.

KACHIN WAR: 30 Burma army soldiers died on Wednesday following heavy fighting with KIA-videos

At least 30 Burma army soldiers died on Wednesday following heavy fighting with the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) in the jade rich Hpakant (also Phakant) district of western Kachin state, according to local KIA officers.

The soldiers were killed following a guerrilla ambush by a KIA unit from the group’s 6th Battalion. According to a KIA officer who spoke to the Kachin News Group on condition of anonymity the fighting took place in the vicinity of the Gwi Hka jade mine. No KIA soldiers were killed in the fighting the officer said.

On Friday January 18th the KIA was forced to withdrawal all troops from the 6th Battalion headquarters, located a few miles northeast of Hpakant town in Ginsi. According to KIA officials the abandonment of the battalion headquarters was a strategic withdrawal carried out prior to government troops advancing on the area.

ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ

၁။ ကချင်ပြည်နယ်တွင် ဖြစ်ပွားလျှက်ရှိသောလက်နက်ကိုင် ပဋိပက္ခများနှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ရန်ကုန်မြို့၊ အမေရိကန် သံရုံးမှ ၂၄-၁-၂၀၁၃ ရက် နေ့စွဲဖြင့် သတင်းကြေညာချက်တစ်ရပ် ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

၂။ နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရသည် အမျိုးသားပြန်လည်သင့်မြတ်ရေး၊ တိုင်းရင်းသားစည်းလုံးညီညွတ်ရေးကို ဦးထိပ်ထားလျက် တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင် အဖွဲ့များနှင့်အပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲပြီး၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး သဘော တူညီမှုများ ရရှိနိုင်ရေးအတွက် စေတနာမှန်ဖြင့် အစဉ်တစိုက် ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဤသို့ ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့မှုကြောင့် ကေအိုင်အို/ကေအိုင်အေအဖွဲ့မှလွဲ၍ ကျန်အဖွဲ့များနှင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး သဘောတူညီမှုများ အဆင့်ဆင့်ရရှိထားပြီး ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

၃။ ကေအိုင်အို/ကေအိုင်အေအတွက် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးတံခါးကိုလည်း ဆက်လက်ဖွင့်လှစ်ထားပြီး၊ နှစ်ဖက် ဆွေးနွေးမှုများပြုလုပ်ရန် အကြိမ်ကြိမ်ကမ်းလှမ်းခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကချင်ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း ပြုလုပ်နေ သော စစ်ရေးဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ရပ်ဆိုင်းရန် နိုင်ငံတော်သမ္မတက ၂၀၁၃ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၉ ရက်နေ့တွင် ညွန်ကြားထားပြီးဖြစ်ရာ၊ တပ်မတော်တပ်ဖွဲ့အသီးသီးကလည်း လိုက်နာလျက်ရှိကြပါသည်။ ကေအိုင်အို/ ကေအိုင်အေဘက်ကလည်း အလားတူ ရပ်ဆိုင်းပေးသွားရန် လိုအပ်ပါသည်။

၄။ မိမိတပ်မတော်တပ်ဖွဲ့များက စစ်ဆင်တိုက်ခိုက်မှုကို ရပ်ဆိုင်းခဲ့သော်လည်း ကေအိုင်အေ တပ်ဖွဲ့များ က မိမိတပ်ဖွဲ့များအား တိုက်ခိုက်ပစ်ခတ်မှုများ ဆက်လက်ပြုလုပ်လာသည့်အတွက် မိမိတပ်ဖွဲ့များမှ ပြန်လည်တုံ့ပြန်တိုက်ခိုက်ရခြင်းမျှသာ ရှိပါသည်။

၅။ တပ်မတော်မှ စစ်ရေးကိစ္စဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ရပ်ဆိုင်းရန် နိုင်ငံတော်သမ္မတမှ ညွန်ကြားထားပြီး၊ ရက်ပိုင်း အတွင်းတွင် ကေအိုင်​အေတပ်ဖွဲ့များသည် လွယ်ဂျယ်မြို့နယ်၊ ဂျာမိုင်းကျေးရွာအနီး၌ တပ်မတော် စစ်ကြောင်းအား အင်အားဖြင့် လာရောက်တိုက်ခိုက်ခြင်း၊ ဖားကန့်မြို့အနီး နယ်မြေခံတပ်စခန်းအား ပစ်ခတ်ခြင်း၊ ကာမိုင်းရဲစခန်းအား စီးနင်းတိုက်ခိုက်ခြင်း၊ ဖားကန့်မြို့နယ်ရှိ ကျောက်မျက်ကုမ္ပဏီနှစ်ခုအား မီးရှို့ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်း၊ အပြစ်မဲ့အရပ်သားများအား ပြန်ပေးဆွဲခြင်း၊ မူဆယ်-လားရှိုးကားလမ်းမပေါ်ရှိ နမ့်အွန်ရွာအနီးတွင် မိုင်းထောင်ဖောက်ခွဲခြင်း စသည့် အကြမ်းဖက်လုပ်ရပ်များ ဆက်တိုက်ကျူးလွန် လာခဲ့ ကြပါသည်။

၆။ ကေအိုင်အေတပ်ဖွဲ့များက ဤသို့သော အကြမ်းဖက် တိုက်ခိုက်မှုများကို ဆက်လက် လုပ်ဆောင် နေခြင်းကြောင့် ရပ်ရွာအေးချမ်းလုံခြုံရေး၊ တရာဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေးအတွက် တပ်မတော်အနေဖြင့် စစ်ရေးအရ ကာကွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ရခြင်းသာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဤဖြစ်ရပ်ဖြစ်စဉ် အားလုံးကို ပြည်သူများ အမှန်အတိုင်းသိရှိနိုင်ရန် နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရက သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်မှုများကို အချိန်နှင့်တပြေးညီ ဆောင်ရွက် လျက်ရှိပါသည်။

၇။ နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရအနေဖြင့် တိုင်းရင်းသားစည်းလုံးညီညွတ်ရေးနှင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးအတွက် ဤမျှ ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်နေသော်လည်း ရန်ကုန်မြို့ အမေရိကန်သံရုံး၏ သတင်းကြေညာချက်တွင် မြန်မာ့ တပ်မတော်က ကေအိုင်အေ ဌာနချုပ်အနီးတစ်ဝိုက်တွင် စစ်ဆင်တိုက်ခိုက်မှုများ ( Military Offensive ) ကို ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်နေကြောင်း၊ ဤတိုက်ခိုက်မှုများကို ပြန်ထန်စွာ ဆန့်ကျင်ကြောင်း၊ ပြင်ပ မီဒီယာများနှင့် အန်ဂျီအိုအချို့ထံမှ သတင်းများကို ကိုးကား၍ ဖော်ပြထားပါသည်။ အမေရိကန်သံရုံး ကြေညာချက်တွင် ကေအိုင်အေဘက်မှ အကြမ်းဖက်တိုက်ခိုက်မှုများနှင့် အပြစ်မဲ့ပြည်သူများ အသက် အိုးအိမ်ဖျက်ဆီးမှုများ၊ ဖမ်းဆီးခေါ်ဆောင်မှုများကို ဖော်ပြခြင်းမရှိဘဲ နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရနှင့် မြန်မာ့ တပ်မတော်ကသာ တိုက်ခိုက်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်နေသည့်သဖွယ် ဖော်ပြထားသည်ကို တွေ့ရှိရသည့်အတွက် နိုင်ငံတကာ၏ အထင်အမြင်လွဲမှားမှုများ ပေါ်ပေါက်လာစေနိုင်ပါသည်။ ဤကဲ့သို့ ရေးသားဖော်ပြမှုများကို ပြင်းထန်စွာ ကန့်ကွက်ပယ်ချလိုက်ပါသည်။

၈။ အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မစ္စတာအိုဘားမားသည် ၁၉-၁၁-၂၀၁၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ခရီးစဉ်တွင်လည်းကောင်း၊ ၂၀-၁၁-၂၀၁၂ ရက်နေ့ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ ဖနောင်ပင်မြို့၌ ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် အာဆီယံ-အမေရိကန် ပြည်ထောင်စု ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးတွင် လည်းကောင်း၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအား “ မြန်မာ” ဟုပင် တလေးတစား ခေါ်ဝေါ် သုံးစွဲခဲ့ပါသည်။

၉။ ယခု အမေရိကန်သံရုံး၏ ကြေညာချက်တွင် ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအား ကမ္ဘာ့ ကုလသမဂ္ဂနှင့် နိင်ငံတကာအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းက အသိအမှတ်ပြု ခေါ်ဝေါ်သုံးစွဲသည့်အတိုင်း ခေါ်ဝေါ်ခြင်း မရှိဘဲ “Burma” “Burmese Government ” “ Burmese Military ” စသည်ဖြင့် သုံးစွဲဖော်ပြခြင်းသည် နိုင်ငံတကာ လိုက်နာကျင့်သုံးရမည့် ကျင့်ဝတ်နှင့်ညီညွတ်မှုမရှိသဖြင့် ယင်းသို့ ခေါ်ဝေါ်သုံးစွဲခြင်းကို ပြင်းထန်စွာ ကန့်ကွက်ပါသည်။ အမေရိကန်သံရုံးအနေဖြင့် ပြန်လည် တည်ဆောက် ထားပြီးဖြစ်သည့် နှစ်နိုင်ငံအပြန် အလှန်လေးစားမှု၊ အပြန်အလှန်နားလည်မှုနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု တို့ကို ထိပါးစေမည့် အပြုအမူမျိုးကို နောင်တွင် ပြုလုပ်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်ဟု မျှော်လင့်ပါသည်။

၁၀။ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရသည် ကချင်ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် တိုင်းရင်းသား စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်ရေးကို တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် ကေအိုင်အို/ ကေအိုင်အေ အပါအဝင် တိုင်းရင်းသား ပြည်သူအားလုံးနှင့် လက်တွဲဆောင်ရွက်သွားရန် အသင့်ရှိကြောင်း ထပ်လောင်းဖော်ပြ အပ်ပါသည်။
