လက္နက္ျပန္လည္ ေပးအပ္ရန္ကိစၥႏွင့္ပတ္သက္၍ DKBA ဘက္မွ BGF တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားထံသို႔ လက္နက္ တခ်ဳိ႕ ျပန္လည္ေပးအပ္ၿပီး ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းႏွင့္ က်န္ေနေသးသည့္ လက္နက္မ်ားကိုလည္း ျပန္လည္ေပး အပ္ရန္ ျပင္ ဆင္ ေနေၾကာင္း ဗိုလ္မႉးေစာဆန္းေအာင္က ဆက္ေျပာသည္။
ဆက္လက္၍ ဦးေအာင္မင္းကလည္း “က်ေနာ္တို႔ေတြ ေတြ႔ၾကတာ တပ္ေနရာခ်ထားေရး ကိစၥရပ္ေတြ၊ ဆက္ဆံ ေရး႐ံုးဖြင့္မယ့္ ကိစၥရပ္ေတြ၊ ေနာက္ သူတို႔(ဒီေကဘီေအ)ရဲ႕ စားေရးေသာက္ေရး ကိစၥရပ္ေတြ ဒါမ်ဳိးေတြ ေဆးေႏြးၾကပါတယ္”ဟု ေျပာသည္။
ဆက္ဆံေရးကို ၾကာအင္းဆိပ္ႀကီး၊ ဘုရားသံုးဆူ၊ က်ဳိက္ဒံုႏွင့္ ၿမိဳင္ႀကီးငူ စသည့္ေနရာ ၄ခုတြင္ ထပ္မံဖြင့္လွစ္ရန္ ရွိသည္ဟု ဒီေကဘီေအ ဘက္က ေျပာသည္။ သို႔ေသာ္ ဖြင့္လွစ္မည့္ အခ်ိန္ႏွင့္ပတ္ သက္၍ ရက္အတိအက် သတ္မွတ္ထားျခင္း မရွိေသးေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
ထို႔အျပင္ ယေန႔ေတြ႔ဆံုမႈတြင္ ႏိုင္ငံေရး၊ စစ္ေရးအရ ေတြ႔ဆံုေဆြးေႏြး မႈမ်ိဳးမဟုတ္ပဲ DKBA ႏွင့္ နယ္ျခားေစာင့္ တပ္အၾကား ျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့သည့္ လက္နက္ႏွင့္ တိုက္ပြဲပဋိပကၡမ်ား ထပ္မံမျဖစ္ေပၚေအာင္သာ ကတိက၀တ္ေပး သည့္ ေဆြးေႏြးမႈမ်ိဳးသာ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ဗိုလ္မႉး ေစာဆန္းေအာင္က ေျပာသည္။
တခ်ိန္တည္းမွာပင္ ကရင္လက္နက္ကိုင္အဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားႏွင့္ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးေဆြးေႏြးေနခ်ိန္တြင္ ကခ်င္လက္နက္ ကိုင္အဖြဲ႔အမ်ားကို အစိုးရမွ ထိုးစစ္ဆင္တုိက္ပြဲဆင္ေနမႈသည္ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးအတြက္ ယံုၾကည္မႈတည္ေဆာက္ရန္ အဟန္႔အတားျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းလည္း DKBA ဘက္မွ တင္ျပခဲ့သည္ကို ၀န္ႀကီးဦးေအာင္က လာမည့္ သံုးေလးရက္ တြင္ ကခ်င္ေဒသစစ္ပြဲကိစၥ အဆင္ေျပသြားမည္ဟု ေျပာသြားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း ဗိုလ္မႉး ေစာဆန္းေအာင္က ဆိုသည္။
အစိုးရဘက္က တိုင္းရင္းသားလက္နက္ကိုင္တပ္ဖြဲ႔မ်ားျဖင့္ ဖြဲ႔စည္းထားသည္ ညီညႊတ္ေသာတိုင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ဳိး မ်ား ဖက္ဒရယ္ေကာင္စီ-UNFC ႏွင့္ သာ ႏိုင္ငံေရးအရ ေတြ႔ဆံုေဆြးေႏြးမႈမ်ားျပဳလုပ္မွသာလွ်င္ DKBA အေနျဖင့္ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးေဆြးေႏြးမႈတြင္ ပါ၀င္သြားမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းလည္း DKBA ဘက္က ေျပာသည္။
DKBA သည္ ၁၉၉၄ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ကရင္အမ်ိဳးသားအစည္းအရံုး-KNU ခြဲထြက္ကာ ျမန္မာစစ္အစိုးရနဲ႔ ျပန္ေပါင္းၿပီး ေနာက္ ၂၀၁၀ ခုႏွစ္၌ ျမန္မာအစိုးရ၏ နယ္ျခားေစာင့္အသြင္ကူးေျပာင္းေရးကို DKBA အဖြဲ႔ထဲမွ လက္မခံသည့္ ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီး ေစာလားပြယ္ဦးေဆာင္သည့္ အဖြဲ႔က အသစ္တက္လာသည့္ ျမန္မာအစိုးရစစ္တပ္ႏွင့္ တိုက္ပြဲ မ်ားျပန္လည္ ျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့သည္။
တဖန္ DKBA သည္ ၂၀၁၁ခုႏွစ္၊ ႏို၀င္ဘာလဆန္းပိုင္းတြင္ ျမန္မာအစိုးရႏွင့္ ကရင္ျပည္နယ္၊ ဖားအံၿမိဳ႕တြင္ ေတြ႔ဆံုေဆြးေႏြးေရးျပဳလုပ္ကာ အပစ္အခတ္ရပ္စဲေရး သေဘာတူညီမႈ ထပ္မံရရွိခဲ့သလို ၎ေနာက္ပိုင္း တိုး တက္ေသာဗုဒၶဘာသာ ကရင္အမ်ဳိးသားတပ္မေတာ္-DKBA မွ ဒီမိုကေရစီကရင္အက်ဳိးျပဳတပ္မေတာ္-DKBA အျဖစ္ ယေန႔အထိ ရပ္တည္ခဲ့သည္။

FM spokesman: Myanmar-China border area stable
BEIJING, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) — A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday that the border area between China and Myanmar is stable following the Myanmar government’s announcement that it would cease fighting with the ethnic Kachin Independence Army in northern Myanmar.
“According to information from Yunnan province (in southwest China), the situation on the Chinese side of the border with Myanmar is currently stable,” spokesman Hong Lei said at a daily press briefing.
The provincial government has taken measures to protect Chinese and their property in the border area, the spokesman said.
“The Chinese side is paying great attention to the situation in north Myanmar,” Hong said, urging all concerned parties to fully cease fire as soon as possible in order to maintain peace and tranquility along the China-Myanmar border.
“China is in close contact with all concerned parties and is playing a constructive role,” he added.
During the briefing, Hong called on the parties to start negotiating in order to end the violence in the region.
“We believe that talks are the only correct solution to the north Myanmar conflict and expect all related parties to seek a ceasefire and start negotiations,” Hong said.
Hong’s comments also came after the Chinese government’s special envoy Fu Ying traveled to Yangon and met with Myanmar President U Thein Sein on Saturday.
As neighbors, China and Myanmar share a 2,200-km border and citizens of both nations living on the border are closely linked, Hong said.
“Turmoil in one country will definitely affect the other country along the border,” Hong said. “The Chinese government is closely watching the development of the situation along the China-Myanmar border.”

Lt Gen Yawdserk (Photo: SHAN)Speaking during the 4-day annual meeting of the Restoration Council of Shan State/ Shan State Army (RCSS/SSA) which ended Saturday, 19 January, the movement’s supreme leader Lt Gen Yawdserk said it had strictly adhered to the ceasefire agreement made with Naypyitaw since 2 December 2011.
“We had stopped staging ambushes along the highway and raiding towns controlled by the Burma Army,” he told the meeting attended by more than 200 Central Committee members of the RCSS. “All the clashes had taken place well outside the highway where our troops are operating. The Burma Army cannot fault us for not keeping our side of the bargain.”
Yawdserk, 54, was commenting on the annual report read out by Central Executive Committee earlier which stated that 68 clashes had taken place between the SSA and the Burma Army plus its People’s Militia Forces (PMFs) during the previous fiscal year, November 2011-October 2012:

According to the report, the SSA had also captured 69 assorted weapons, killed 113 and wounded 129.

Burma: PEACE MARCHERS TO LAIZA STOPPED BY POLICE IN PEGU FOR HOLDING FLAGS-VIDEO
Authorities briefly stopped activists during their more than 800-mile trek from Rangoon to the battlefields in Kachin state after entering Pegu division on Tuesday morning.
Yan Naing Htun, one of the estimated 50 participants that began marching from Rangoon yesterday, said government officials and the police stopped the activists for holding flags while marching.
The officials told the activists to restrain from holding up their baby-blue flags while marching through the administrative region around 10:40am this morning. They were then allowed to continue walking about 20 minutes later with their flags tied around their necks.
“I don’t think it’s a right thing to tell us to drop the flags,” said Yan Naing Htun
