BBC Worldwide is launching three channels in Burma for the first time.

The BBC has aired the BBC World Service in Burma since 1940, but this will be the first time that it has launched its bouquet of pay channels in the country. The move will mean that a raft of drama and comedy series will be available via BBC Entertainment and a number of British preschool series will be available through CBeebies.

Mark Whitehead, senior vice president and general manager of BBC Worldwide Channels Asia, said: “We are very pleased to be part of Burma’s growing economy, and excited to be delivering our wide range of highly rated and award-winning programming – from programmes specially designed for pre-schoolers, to the best of UK comedy and drama and high quality international news to new viewers.”

Dead bodies of Burmese government soldiers after fierce battle with KIA and ABSDF fighters-VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED

The All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), an armed group fighting alongside ethnic rebels in northern Kachin State, said government forces suffered the casualties on Friday after launching an offensive in Lajayang region, near the rebels’ headquarters in the town of Laiza, where about 70,000 displaced civilians are staying in refugee camps.

In a one-day battle about 10 km from Laiza, rebel forces killed and injured more than 60 government soldiers and captured many of their weapons– by  ABSDF soldier Min Htay

ABDSF student 1988( Htay Naing ) was killed by Moe Thee Zun, real name  Myo Than Htut  and his group 1994 in North of Thailand.So, His mother opened the case at North of New Dagon Police Station now.

Now They reply mother ,
President Thein Sein order to police help my mother open case with 302 .
