Burmese government army instructed to ignore orders

Fierce battles between Kachin Independence Army and Burmese government army continue to rage in Kachin and Northern Shan State as more Burmese troops are being deployed in KIA’s territory. Burmese government soldiers under Thaton-based44^th LID, Hmawbi-based 77^th LID, Magway-based 88^th LID, and Meiktila-based 99^th LID have been continuously transported to Kachin and Shan State despite calls for peace from quasi-civilian government.

A battle took place between a KIA’s mobile column and Burmese army’s 37^th LIB at Galang Ja village located between Seng Mai and Ta Law Gyi on Aug 16 at 8 am.

Another battle took place between KIA’s 3^rd Battalion under 5^th Brigade and Burmese army’s 88^thLID at San Pai village on Aug 16.

Another front in Northern Shan State, KIA soldiers from 34^th Battalion under 4^th Brigade have fought government soldiers under Burmese army’s North Eastern Command based in Lashio on Aug 16.

On Aug 15, KIA’s capital security forces fought against Burmese army’s 390^th LIR for four hours beginning 12 noon near Namsan-yang village. Burmese Army’s artillery unit stationed at Dum Bang hill and Lai Lum Awng Ja have reportedly pounded with 81 mm mortar shells onto Namsan-yang village for 15 times and Burmese army’s Gang Dau Yang base fired 105 mm mortar shells for at least 17 times.

Burmese president Thein Sein has ordered twice to halt offensive operations against KIO but Burmese army escalates the Kachin war by sending more troops from lower Burma. An informed source says that Burmese army has also been instructed to ignore all orders and focus on its military operations regardless of changing political situations.

Burma: KNU’s Relation Office Opening Ceremony proved the government of division ruling

One of KNU district Secretary said attending of the fourth times Karen National Union’s Myawaddy Relation Office opening ceremony just including government ministers, Senator Commissions and state headers, proved that cause the division between ethnic groups.

He continued and said, “This is the same as using mind attack upon Southern Ceasefire ethnic group. They invited ethnic groups such as Mon, Karen, DKBA, BGF. And then, besides ministers of the government, Senator Committee, States Chairmen, official political party and also invited personally to importance persons. So, we can see that KNU’s office opening ceremony was teeming crowd with about 600 attendance people. If look back and consider to ethnic affairs, this is a meaning of consoling for Southern group”

The persons whose government invited are General San Aung from Kalohtoobaw DKBA, General Kyaw Thet, Saw Nay Soe Mya from Peace Council, Administrative and General Chit Thu from Border Guard No. (3), General Moke Thon, responsible person form Myawaddy district, National League for Democratic (NLD) and Phalon-sawor party.

Furthermore, they invited to MNSP’s Chairman and vice chairman. However, executive member of NMSP Nai Tala Nyi and Nai Win Hla leaded and attended to ceremony.

အာဆီယံႏုိင္ငံမ်ားတြင္ ေနာက္ထပ္အသစ္ ႏိုင္ငံတစ္ခုအျဖစ္ အစၥလမ္မစ္ ျပည္သူမ်ား၏ ႐ိုဟင္ဂ်ာလြပ္လြပ္ေသာ ႏုိင္ငံေတာ္ဟု ေဖၚျပေၾကျငာထားေသာ ေၾကျငာခ်က္တစ္ေစာင္ ထြက္ေပၚလာသည္။ သူတို႔၏ ကုလားစကားအတိုင္း (ရာ့ခ်္မန္းဟန္း) ႏုိင္ငံအျဖစ္
ေခၚတြင္သည္ဟုဆိုသည္။
ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္မွာ စစ္ေတြၿမိဳ႕ျဖစ္ၿပီး သမၼတမွာ (Amim LLhan Kamil)ႏွင့္ ဒုတိယသမၼတမွာ (Faris Sh
