Min Thuta – According to the Chairman of the All Mon Regions Democracy Party (AMDP), most Mon monks and nationals support the union of the Mon National Democratic Front (MNDF) and the All Mon Regions Democracy Party (AMDP).
Since November 17th, the opinions of Mon monks and nationals on the potential union of the two Mon Parties have been collected. Mon nationals, especially Mon monks, gave great support, said the Chairman of AMDP Nai Ngwe Thein (aka) Nai Janu-Mon.
The Chairman continued, “70 monks from Lamine Sub-township had collectively written a letter requesting two parties to absolutely unite.
