Representatives will be discussing the report’s findings on the increase in cases of human trafficking under Burma’s military government, Burma’s economic collapse and the regime’s neglect of traditional livelihoods, as well as other factors contributing to human trafficking in northern Shan State such as lack of access to education and surging opium cultivation in the region.

Please join us as we discuss human trafficking in Burma’s northern Shan State.
