Supporters Return Home, but the Media Still Waits
Dozens of supporters of pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi have returned home after waiting all day for her release on Friday. More than 200 journalists, diplomats and supporters continue to wait near the home of Burmese democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi in anticipation of her release from house arrest, which could come as soon as this evening.
