  • Crowd Still Waiting for Suu Kyi’s Release

    More than 200 journalists, diplomats and supporters continue to wait near the home of Burmese democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi in anticipation of her release from house arrest, which could come as soon as this evening. However, witnesses said that her deputy Tin Oo told the crowd that she is more likely to be released on Saturday morning.
