Thailand: Thaksin’s Revolution
Over the last few years criminal fugitive from justice and former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has fomented violence against the current government of Thailand. With radio and telephone broadcasts Thaksin has promoted the violent upheaval of the current administration of Abhisit Vejjajiva in a callous act of revenge for his conviction of corruption. During this period Thaksin has purchased a multitude of arms and brought mercenaries into the ranks of the civilians in an attempt to overthrow the government. When the government froze his assets he declared war and now the streets flow with the blood of his misguided followers and government personnel.
Clearly this criminal has promoted and sponsored civil unrest and is responsible for the carnage that has ensued. There is no question he has the assistance of both North Korean and Burmese arms merchants and is a staunch supporter of the criminal regimes of General Than Shwe of Burma and Kim Jong II of North Korea. Using Than Shwe’s well worn book of subversive tactics his first major offensive launched a wave of bombings and shootings placing the unwitting protestors in mortal danger. Using every opportunity to point blame towards the government Thaksin has shown that he has no real regard for his followers and will stoop to any level to rein revenge on the people of Thailand with no concern for the human toll.
Thailand’s political history has always been a most exuberant and energized affair with opposing parties staging massive rallies and protests. Only now has the political arena of Thailand become a killing field financed solely by the fugitive from Justice Thaksin Shinawatra. Reviewing Thaksin’s political history reveals a petty man who has continued to mislead his followers by buying them off with crumbs while robbing national assets for personal gain during his tenure as Prime Minister. His blatant support for Than Shwe of Burma while funneling Thai assets to this criminal regime has spoken volumes about the true character of this fugitive. Thaksin and his inner core of thug mercenaries are nothing more than terrorists trying to force mob rule on this Asian democracy and should be dealt with accordingly.
Like General Than Shwe of Burma, Thaksin Shinawatra is nothing more than a common criminal who has evaded justice. Now he can add treason and murder to his crimes for it is Thaksin Shinawatra that has blood on his hands for all this needless bloodshed. By seeding groups of supporters with armed mercenaries he has placed unwitting followers in the direct line of fire in this reprehensible and cowardly tactic. It is only a matter of time before Thaksin’s forces launch another assault with more sophisticated weaponry he has purchased including rocket launchers and an array of advanced military ordinance. On more than one occasion within his broadcasts he has vowed to topple the government of Thailand by any means possible including assassinations and sabotage. The deterioration of diplomatic relations with Cambodia will undoubtedly have Thaksin’s fingerprints, there is no question. After all, Thaksin Shinawatra is the economic adviser to premier Hun Sen of Cambodia and it is a sure bet economical warfare is also in this criminal’s arsenal. Thaksin was also appointed “Special Ambassador of Nicaragua” by Daniel Ortega who issued this fugitive from justice a passport. His web of allies spreads around the globe and reads more like a “who’s who” in worldwide tyranny. Soon Thaksin’s cronies will be revealed since it is obvious they are supporting Thaksin’s war against the people of Thailand as well. Truly, Thaksin Shinawatra is a man with no honor and he deserves no dialogue. “Thaksin’s Revolution” is nothing more than a criminal act and should be dealt with no quarter.
