Supreme commander of the Thai Armed Forces has agreed to host a public forum for sake of peace on December 14

Anti-govt People’s Democratic Reform Committee will send representative to join Sunday’s govt-proposed political reform forum

Suriyasai Katasila, a PDRC leader, said  Sathit Wongnongtoey and Ekkanat Promphan, would represent the PDRC in the forum

He said that Saturday’s public forum held by the PDRC at Thammasat University has received warm respond from all parts of the societies with more than 3,000 representatives from farmers, business sector, NGOs,  accepting the invitation to join.

The  forum will begin from 9 .00 a.m. till 4.00 p.m.

Hence the Armed Forces will host the public forum at its headquarters on December 14 at its Peace Operations Center at 5.00  p.m. Registration for attendance will be from 2.15 p.m.

It said this at this forum, representatives of the PDRC will clarify to representatives of all groups comprising representatives of government agencies, organizations, academics, the private sector, and all relevant groups which the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters will invite them to take part.

Meanwhile informed source said that Supreme Commander Gen Tanasak has ordered to host the public forum and would invite PDRC secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban, commanders-in-chief of the three armed forces, and permanent secretary of Defense to take part in the forum.
