The 11 member United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC) is holding a low-profile meeting at an undisclosed location on the Thai-Burmese border, according to border security sources. The main topic is believed to be the long-awaited formation of the Federal Union Army (FUA).But unlike previous occasions, Naypyitaw is no longer demanding that Bangkok put a stop to the alliance’s movements and activities. (SHAN)
