Private Ai La from the Shan State Army’s Battalion 807, stopped by 3 Burma Army men

Private Ai La from the Shan State Army’s Battalion 807, 72nd Brigade, who was on errand to Mong Nawng, a sub-township seat of Kehsi township, stopped by 3 Burma Army men (1 officer and 2 enlisted men) before entering the town. During the ensuing shootout, the officer was killed and his pistol taken by Ai La, who escaped unscathed. (SHAN)
