According to new reports coming in, the 4 Chinese engineers at the Tasang Hydropwoer project, were abducted by an unknown armed band on 9 May, and not 17 May as reported earlier. The Chinese work team at Tasang had tried to handle the affair by themselves. Only when that approach failed, they reported to the Burmese authorities. The 4 are still missing at the time of this reporting. (SHAN)
