Updated Shan News:3 point petition to Thein Sein

    The Shan Nationalities League for Democracy (SNLD), along with other de-registered parties including NLD, Mon, Arakan, Zomi and Kachin parties, are submitting a 3 point petition to President Thein Sein:

    • Release of all political prisoners
    • Peace talks with the armed ethnic movements
    • Amnesty for exiled patriots, says SNLD spokesman Sai Lake. (SHAN)
