Fighting between the Burma Army and Shan State Army (SSA) ‘North’ continued in central Shan State:
25 March – Tangyan township. Burma Army column got caught between two SSA patrols. Casualties unknown
26 March – Kehsi township. Mongpiang based Light Infantry Battalion 758 clashes with SSA’s 1st Battalion. 2 killed and 3 wounded on the Burma Army side.
26 March – SSA’s 766th Battalion and unidentified Burma Army patrol in Mong Awd tract, Monghsu township. Burma Army suffers 1 killed and 2 wounded.
27 March – SSA’s 766th Battalion and unidentified Burma Army patrol at Panghoong, Monghsu township. (SHAN)
