LSR to campaign for Suu Kyi’s release

NEW DELHI: Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College for Women is organising a cross-country run this Friday to campaign for release of Myanmar’s pro-democracy crusader Aung San Suu Kyi, an alumna of the institution. A large number of students are expected to take part in the run.

Ms. Suu Kyi, who is the general secretary of the National League for Democracy in Myanmar, has been under house arrest for many years
